Wasn't a wow movie but kang haneul performance is on top as usual, he is easily in top 5 best korean actors, he tried so many dif roles and slayed each of them, from being a normal kid who got manipulated in forgotten (which is his best movie and probably the best korean movie ever) to comedy in midnight runner (another great movie) to this where he is playing a not so normal type of people, aka a weirdo but not a psycho and many others, i hope he gets more recognition and fame, waiting for his drama with go minsi
they could have used a rock instead of ding yuxi bc he appears every ep for 1s that you get confused if that was actually him of you just tripping???? this is probably the most idolist idol drama i have ever seen, they casted all these big names just to sell the drama. i am on ep 5 yet i feel like wasting time, the visual is stunning and i am happy to see the ml, he is soooo pretty and he is actually good at acting, liu shishi is gorg love her since scarlet heart but lately she has been playing the same character i really got bored of seeing the same facial expression every drama, the last good drama she had was a journey to love, after that, she is giving yang mi, no emotions, no effort in making the acting quality better, i guess it is time for them to stop making idol dramas and focus on what will make their acting skills better, i do not think i will continue watching this, even tho so many of my favs are here but can not watch a 40 eps drama just bc i love someone i care more about the story and acting quality, they could hav saved that budget for the cgi and the production instead of bringing our fav to make us watch it anyway, i did not have any hifh hopes for this anyways so i am not disappointed, since it was written by the same person who wrote the 1st one.

After today's trailer i thought this looks like the forbidden flower, the color palette, the vibes and the cinematography and then i looked at the credits it is directed and written by the same person, now i have high expectations bc that show was a masterpiece, hope this is on the same level 😩😩😩
Yall need to know the dif between acting like a kid and having a high pitched voice, i do not want to say names but some of you who are hating on her were hyping up other actors who were actually acting like a child and sounding like a child and it felt so forced and annoying to watch, she is a voice actor she does what tge director says and what suits the character, acting like she didn’t play more than 3 characters in lbfad and sounded dif playing each one, and played 3 characters in lgief and also each one sounded dif than the other, and let's not forget mjty, yet we are still looking fo a reason to hate on her, if ypu don't like her just skip her dramas it's not that hard, how many actors can actually give each character a dif vibe and a dif voice using their own voice? It is really hard, but you are never satisfied bc your problem was never a high pitched voice, your problem is yu shuxin herself

I rated this 8.5 when it first started, it was really good and refreshing, the leads were dif from the usual and their story was unique, we only see this kind of stories in movies not in dramas. But the second half of the drama is so poorly written, the whole vibe changed, after their first break up the drama started getting a bit boring, then the 2nd couple story started, it was cute at first but then... nonsense, the writers intention was to show how karma works but for me it was stupid af, the 2nd female lead was a psychopath, the name thing...then wanting back her ex who once chose money over her, now she did the samething and ruined the other girls marriage, just like that??? Then we have the 3rd leads, i don't even know if they ad a thing or not??? Their story was so random I would say the only realistic character is daji, se loved him, but when she realized he is not the same person she used to love, and he doesn't see her as a person with dreams rather someone who is there to help him achieve his goals, she woke up to reality, she chose her career an herself, i respect he for that, bcs she is not the fl who will blindly follow the ml just bcs it's a romcom! I would give this 7.3 for the female lead and the first eps and the acting bcs it was good esp wang anyu he did better than any of his previous works.
Hello iqiyi took this project!!!! Yessss exactly what I prayed for, now I'm sure this is gonna be something, bcs iqiyi doesn't play whe it comes to suspense dramas. Glad it's not from youku as the it was rumored.
I love when fantasy dramas make sense, the way they tell the story is so smooth and interesting, you don't find plot holes here and there just bcs it's fantasy, the last time a fantasy drama got me this interested was love game in eastern fantasy. Hope this will keep being this good
Loved the chemistry between the leads and the overall vibe, but they are the only interesting thing in the whole show, i'm on ep 6 and i skipped everything except their scenes, esp the exes they were so unnecessary, they are so creepy, they got on my nerves i couldn't watch th for a second
Sorry guys this is not related to the drama but I'm asking for recommendations, i want a kdrama where the ml is kind of nonchalant or just normal kind of men who will change character after falling in love with a woman and he will start acting cute and silly, but not cringy, someone like the male lead in from now on showtime... (better be underrated) bcs i watched most of the famous dramas. (Leads better be mature people not Highschoolers)
Ren jialun character here is so dif from what he usually plays, it's refreshing to see him playing a normal kind of silly guy not a cold nonchalant ml.
The right amount of horror, the right amount of suspense, the right amount of romance, and the right amount of fantasy, if this continues with the same pacing, quality and story telling i will give it a solid 9.8 💖 the first 6 eps were amazing, def worth the waiting.
