love the acting. Sweet, strong chemistry between ML and FL. Their expressions when they look at each other makes you want to melt. When SZ goes to the airport to look for DJX, her tears broke me down. Her loyalty to DJX is so sweet, my fav is when she's comforting him at the cemetery and told him how wonderful he is...perfection. You can also sense how lonely DJX is and how much he wants her to be his family....Love, love, love this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
sweet but not much going on
I get it if this is your kind of drama but it's way too slow for me. I would say that this drama is like a really slow rainy afternoon with nothing to do. If you are looking for thrills and excitement, this drama is not it. Their love is sweet but that's about it for me. There's also not much of a plot, everything is very plain and simple. In my opinion, Hidden love is much better with much more emotional angst in a good way.Was this review helpful to you?

Like many have said, it's a masterpiece
Incredible acting by the whole cast. The story was warm, heartfelt, beautifully written, and funny. I believe this is Bai Lu's best acting. Like another reviewer have said, characters in this show is multifaceted displaying the complexity of people and their thoughts and actions. I would say this one is probably the best written among the same genre. I think "The Story of Rose," is similar in feel as well as "Go ahead." Chemistry between Bai Lu and main lead is natural and magnetic; the way they look and talk to each other makes you want to swoon. If you can't stand mousy character that never talks, don't watch this.
Honestly, the storyline isn't bad but if theres one thing about CDs that irks me is the mousy characters they put in them. I don't understand why they write characters where the FLs have zero personality. Maybe this is considered sweet but is unbearable for me. Other than a young pretty face, the acting is pretty bland. I wanted to like this drama but I can't finish. The ML is good, just wish the FL's character is more developed.Was this review helpful to you?
