Not believable
The 2024 original series is better, in every aspect. This for me was the utmost downgrade from the original episodes.
Usually even when the plot is not there, and the acting is not that great, the NC scenes try to be somewhat believable.
But in this case the acting could not convince me, even the NC scenes were not convincing, they were so dry, and painful to watch. I could not believe anything they were saying to each other. There was also a lot of gifting in these special episodes, however even their series of "thank you" to each other was not believable. I think the leads didn't live up to the standard of the original 12 episodes, their acting there was 100 times better, and most importantly, it was believable. Maybe the absence of a tangible plot did not do them any justice.
