Brilliant Drama, But an Unfair Goodbye

From the very first episode, Tempest had me hooked. It wasn’t just a drama, it felt like a full-scale movie every week. The direction, the breathtaking action scenes, and the outstanding performances made it a complete masterpiece. The chemistry between Main leads was fire mature, raw, and so real that it gave the whole story incredible depth. Add the OST on top of that (which I’ve been replaying nonstop), and it honestly felt perfect.

But then came the ending and that’s where my heart broke. After everything Munju had already endured, after all the pain she carried, they decided to kill San Ho? It felt cruel and unnecessary. The entire journey built such a strong bond between them, only for it to be destroyed in the finale. I wanted closure, healing, and maybe even hope for them but instead, the ending just left me shattered.

Even with this disappointment, I can’t deny Tempest is one of the best dramas I’ve ever seen. The quality, the acting, the direction everything was on another level. But honestly, the way it ended will always stay as one of the biggest “what could have been” moments for me.

Because of ending iam giving this masterpiece 9/
