Last 4 eps were choppy as hell , i blame GJM and his editor for this, mostly the scene with Wen Xiao, you just push her into the background. Actors are solid, they work hard, the bond everyone have is very apparent. This could be a 10/10 if only the story telling and editing were done right.

Yes its super stupid. Lots of plot hole. I want to believe it but after ep 22 i just think theyre getting stupid. Plus how come they still dont catch Ao Yin till now .... i might have to change my rating for this show..., as pretty and wholesome their interaction with e.o is i still think the inconsistensies are quite annoying, I cant overlook it.

Everyone is so beautiful in this , i watch this simultaneously with lgief and i can say i like this more, very aestethic, i love Zhuo Yi Chen and Zhu Yan wardrobe so much. This is different, it sets itself apart from currently/previously airing C Drama. I dont think anyone else can play Zhu Yan, Hou Minghou is perfect for this role. The only problem is, i watch this with 20% brain capacity, so sometimes i cant catch small hints / details / nuance about their relationship.

I dont think Chen Duling role is very likeable in this, im not hating on her, i just think zhuyan interactions with yichen is more wholesome.
