The Best Thing is really SO GOOD! The cast ate and left no crumbs! the acting was excellent, and the chemistry was perfect. The cinematography is wonderful, with well-framed pictures that heighten the emotions of each scenario. Another standout feature is the soundtrack, which wonderfully compliments the plot and heightens the impact of each moment.

Finding out that the director also worked on Smile Code made perfect sense, the visuals are stunning, with each scene meticulously produced. Plus, with the screenwriter from Hidden Love behind the romance, it’s no surprise it’s so well-written. The slow-burn suspense is chef's kiss, the emotions seem so real, and the little details really pull at your heartstrings.

Bravo! 👏👏👏

On When the Phone Rings Jan 7, 2025
OMG, this drama was a whole vibe! The cast understood the assignment—chemistry was unmatched, and even the villains brought their A-game. Props to the production team for giving us a masterpiece! And the OST? Straight fire. Yoo Yeon Seok singing the final track? Iconic. 🔥🎶

Baek Sa Eon was giving major Wattpad energy—his love for Hong Hee Joo was pure chef’s kiss. The way he desperately asked for help to find his wife? Ugh, it broke my heart and made me want to jump in and help him myself. 🥹💔 The raw emotion in those scenes hit so hard.

That said, the mistranslations (if true) and the sensitivity of the war scene could’ve been better handled. But overall, *When the Phone Rings (2024)* was next level. A must-watch for sure! 🙌✨

I wish this can come to Netflix, even the vibe is like Netflix~ I've been enjoying this too much I'm going to…
I read somewhere that some regions have Smile Code on Netflix—so jealous! 🫠 But no worries, we can totally request Smile Code through this link too.

It was done by some anti fans who deliberately rated low mass ratings. If the drama is good, automatically ratings…
That’s kinda sad. Maybe some viewers were just expecting a faster-sweet romance, since C-dramas are known for that. But yeah, I totally agree—the pacing and the acting are on point!

M liking that they are not going fast with the couples, when things go fast they become boring.
I totally agree, especially right now. The plot is really delving into the ML's past and character development, which adds depth. The latest episodes feel like the rising action, building tension and anticipation before things pick up speed. It’s nice to see the story take its time

Watching Smile Code is like riding an emotional rollercoaster! 🎢 It’s got everything—comedy, angst, romance, and friendships that hit hard. One minute you’re laughing, the next you're deep in the feels. The show does an amazing job balancing light moments with emotional tension.

Let’s talk about the SML: total heartthrob. He gives off major Wu Busong vibes from ALSB, but honestly, I think he's even better. 😍 Gu Yi and Yu Du Le’s friendship is everything! Their chemistry is so natural, you can tell they’ve got each other’s backs no matter what. It’s not forced at all—it’s just real, and that makes their dynamic so fun to watch. Plus, the psychologist character is like the emotional guide, giving us insight into what the characters feels.

Gu Yi’s mom is hilarious—classic nagging mom, but in the best way. Her warmth adds such a sweet layer to the drama.

NGL, some of Gu Yi’s jokes didn’t land for me, but other times her humor is spot on—mixing real-life struggles with funny one-liners. It’s a hit-or-miss thing.

Also, some of the office scenes feel like filler? They don’t always add much to the plot, but I get it—it's showing the characters outside the romance.

Honestly, I don’t get why this show has low ratings—it definitely deserves more love. The acting is solid, the cinematography is gorgeous, and the OST is 🔥. If you’re into slow-burn romance, strong friendships, and family moments, Smile Code is a must-watch!

Just finished ep 10 and I’m getting major Wu Busong of ALSB vibes from Xu Guan Rui-2nd ML 😩 like, that cool, patient, I-love-you-but-I’m-not-gonna-force-it energy? Can’t wait for the next ep!! 👀🔥

This drama is literally a rollercoaster of emotions 😩 Every time I watch, I’m lowkey stressed about Gu Yi—what if Liang Dai Wen doesn’t feel the same? Like, I can totally see how his actions seem like he cares, but what if that’s just his vibe with everyone? The slow burn between them is so real, every episode just adds more tension, and I’m HERE for it. This cdrama is crushing the slow burn trope!🔥

Ngl, as for Gu Yi’s jokes in Ounce... they either hit or miss for me. Some moments were funny, but others didn’t really land, maybe because of the cultural gap? I totally get why they work for some, but personally, a few just felt off. Still, Gu Yi is lowkey charming, and I’m loving his character overall.

Also, this is my first review for the drama and I can’t WAIT for the next episodes. So far, it’s been great, and I’m hoping it keeps up the vibe and doesn’t waste my time. 🤞

Shoutout to the actors and directors tho! The emotions on this drama are hitting different., and the OST & cinematography? Just wow. Straight up chef’s kiss 💯✨
