Not even TikTok edits can prepare you
I started watching this show because of TikTok edits of a Jeong Ba-Reum, like I knew who the psychopath was from the start without any context other than clips of him smiling to himself and this show still managed to throw me through a complete loop.At the beginning I was like oohhhh he’s so bad when is the penny going to drop? I was so confused and they actually managed to convince me after a while that it was Yohan but THEN things kept happening and I was confused and thought well maybe they’ve both been killing other people? Then the brain transplant happened and I was like oh okay so Ba-Reum was never actually bad to begin with it’s because of Yohan’s brain.
My confusing and spiralling continued so far throughout the series and wow 😂😭😭 I have to give them credit they absolutely smashed this series

I hate verticals
I really do hate vertical shorts they usually lack story and fail to hook me but this drama, man. The concept of the story was amazing, it had me absolutely hooked. Why did they make this a vertical? The story had so much potential and I would have loved to see it played out as a proper drama with more time for character depth and a more well played out ending. I’m being serious when I say this drama would have done numbers if it wasn’t a vertical. All this aside, genuinely surprised a short was able to grip me this hard and will definitely be giving other shorts more of a chance because it was an extremely enjoyable watch even if I have a few criticisms.

AI slop
I think we all can agree on there’s such a thing as too much ai and in this case the ai makes the show completely unwatchable. I got a headache not even a minute in and it gradually got worse throughout the episode, this is horrendous and I dread a day that something like this becomes the standard. We want real people (which this show does have thankfully) real scenery and real music. This is bare minimum and it’s insulting that companies think so little of the consumer that they produce something this bad.Was this review helpful to you?
Thee ?
No way 😂😂😂 I honestly thought Thee would be a total red flag, but he’s more of a soft, slightly murky orange so far, which is actually kind of adorable. The whole situation is way cuter than I expected, and it kept getting better the more I watched episode one!!!!
Compared to the rest of the dramas GMMTV have brought to us this year, this is definitely the show I’ve felt the most connected to so far.
I seriously recommend everyone check it out because it already feels like it’s going to turn into something fun, dramatic, and really worth following <3
