The hooded guy gives orders, all his men accept but 1st happened to Zheng ordered his but none of his employees accept. So Zheng negotiated the hooded guy with the blood stain pearl, then kidnap scene, I don't know when you saw hooded guy talked to a person ( you don't mention the name of person), and that refused, I don't remember watching that scene in the episode, refusal came from Zheng employees, not from hooded guy and his employees, so I don't know what you are watching.... Duanwu was going after Qin as she was informed that Qin went to his home town.... It is not in Yangzhou so she had to hire a carriage to go to different town cross the road, she was kidnapped in the middle of the trip, she told her employees to let yan and Zhang informed her whereabouts, she is not from royal family and thus cannot take guards with her, she only owns shops, so far didn't hire martial artists guards (where as Yan had some guards hired and they were trained as well as shown in the earlier episodes but not sure if they are still with him now), she is concerned about Qin going to his home town without telling anything so she was going after him she got kidnapped during the trip, in middle of the road gaosou her employee stopped the carriage to look for the sound source, in the middle of road, deserted place someone is asking for help.... A naive person like gaosou can fall into trap.... During those ancient times people doing immoral activities, there could have been real victims, but this time they fall for trap.... People in general don't think they will be kidnapped, but yeah important people in the society hire guards and stuff but Duanwu is the middle of development, she will become such person and at time she will have some guards hopefully, at this point she doesn't have those, so she was going to different town not some random place looking for Qin,
The only point you can argue is why Zheng is at the kidnapped place graveyard of his son's.... How he sneaked I have no idea as the drama didn't show it.... It may be arguably a loophole. But other than that writers tried to give plausible reason for Duanwu' s action
Don't be offended ... It seems to me you didn't watch the episode properly, because there is no such scene where the hooded ordered the person and the person didn't listen..... Again I don't know who you are referring to since you didn't mention the name.... Anyway lets just agree to disagree with each other, I find no point mentioning same thing again and again.... Duanwu and her team was informed that Qin was going to his home without telling them, so they were concerned and followed him.
UpTo episode 36, Yan and Zhang went to glasswork factory to see if they had returned.... UpTo this point, they have not started searching, they still don't know if Duanwu is kidnapped.... We will those actions from next episode hopefully.....
However, the problem is how Zheng got out of the house under house arrest.....
It is not about believing in her / them, it is more about him not willing to bet with the life of his beloved...…

You don't need dis/agreement with me since I am just showing you different perspective of a character actions in the drama to look at, now whether it is right or wrong is a different issue , I am not getting into that point, I just want to understand what reasoning or thoughts he might have to make him do whatever he is doing, and i think everyone will respond to the situation differently whether right or wrong.. I also think like him, she also wants to protect him and has the right to choose, but he is not willing to accept her assistance because he is scared of losing her, but he needs to understand that whether he wants or not, she needs to face the challenge as she is already involved with this the moment she set her feet to the dessert. They will come after her now or near future for sure with different excuse. So, with given enough time, reason, he just need to overcome his fear and get courageous enough to tackle the situation together head on once again...

It is not about believing in her / them, it is more about him not willing to bet with the life of his beloved... Dealing with bandits means risking your life... To him at this moment cure is not with him... So even if he wants to live, without cure he is bound to die, he is risking his own life but not her life falling down with him when she has the other choice in life, betting your loved ones lives is not good..... Of course, joining hands strengthen you but for Yan the point is whether he can gather enough courage to face the risk together with Duanwu, Lossing everything twice (except Duanwu last time), witnessing death of loved ones twice, he is now reluctant to involve her again, it will take lots of motivation, encouragement to face the risk together, lots of courage, guts to let her face the risk of death with him and need to understand/accept that she has already deep in water once she went to the dessert after all her life was in danger being daughter of Yu Shi who was involved with Yan family.... There is no turning point for her anymore, he needs to understand it after all, they will eventually come after her once they finish him off
I needed them to make up and find the cure yesterday.
I think it's not much of misunderstanding... More like whatever he says, she will believe.... She has that much of confidence or trust towards him.... But he is avoiding her not facing her truthfully..... Anyway, when she came to him, he was snobbish to her, then he came to her with business deal of supplying raw materials, she gets back him with snobbish attitude...... From a rational point, I think it was wrong to decline the offer, well it was an emotional rejection to yan . After getting cornered with murder case, both of them willing to accept whatever the other is offering, finally they overcome the wall of being snob and longing for each other, now they are entering the phase of pouring all anger and frustration by quarreling and bickering with each other, after the quarrel comes the sweet moments of reunion.... And hopefully it will come next 2 or 3 episodes, romance is very slow here, well not the main point
I like that the three are together, but we are nearing that 30 episode mark and the misunderstanding, though fraying…
The cure or it's ingredients are with the bandits. They took away everything to let yan die from poison... They are after him.... So like cui family, this Zheng family is going to lead him to the bandits I think.... Right now he laid the trap and waiting for Zheng take the bait... We have wait for getting cure until he reaches those bandits and till then he survives
