Enttäuschend

Unfortunately, Irreplaceable has disappointed me more and more with each episode. At first, I really hoped it would develop into a captivating love story, but sadly, it has fallen far short of my expectations.
What bothers me most is the complete lack of chemistry between the two leads. We are constantly told that they love each other and need each other, but as viewers, we barely get to see any evidence of that. They are supposedly a couple, yet there is a lack of both emotional intimacy and physical attraction, not to mention romantic tension. Even when they have moments together, their conversations revolve exclusively around their work. There is hardly any room for genuine tenderness, personal conversations, or moments when they can simply be two people in love.
A love story is not just about the script telling us that two people love each other. We need to feel that love, too. We want to sense their longing for each other, experience their closeness, and understand what makes them so special to one another. Here, however, their relationship is talked about far more than it is actually shown.
Instead of any meaningful romantic development, everything seems to revolve around their careers. Their relationship remains surprisingly superficial, and even the moments that are supposed to be romantic feel little different from ordinary conversations about work.
It's such a shame. This could have been a great drama.
