Tbh i actually believe he truly loves her with his whole heart. I understand he feel indebted to bai zhe n his rigid values thus it leads to all the misunderstanding between them. I just hope he chose not to leave her at the moment taotie forced him to drink the twin mushroom. I dont know how he can bear to leave her just like that while he always said that he do not want to leave her 😭
Previously he also always suspicious of her actions but at each story, he finally understood n see taotie only means good after all. And he can accept it despite contradict with his own value. Like taotie used to eat yuchang every 100years mistakenly for his betrayal. Is it even acceptable? But he understood it after all. He even sacrifice his own principle to get dear’s horn that lead to it dead just to save taotie that he loves deeply. Is it also acceptable? Why when taotie did the same, make she sins while he is not. I understood, perhaps what he means is he afraid taotie will do something more cruel for him n he do not want that to happen, thats why he left her. But i really hope he never left her at those episodes when taotie handle palace’s thingy n tianxiang restaurant after back from palace without him. It was so frustrated of him. I even wish he never return actually because i hate that he is not there with taotie!!! Hahaha i feel this drama really gets me too emotional lol.
The ending perhaps is still with hope that they will eventually meet again at least one day. Maybe it was perfect that qing’s finally can redeem himself this way, save wuxiang n taotie at the same time. I hope qing’s can understand when taotie said she was never wish for forever. She is already contented with moment like that. It is those moments of them together. If qing’s ever chose not to leave her while they still had time before 😢.. It ended after all n atleast he dont left her like monk did. Only explained everything 500years later.

Poor taotie at last being left alone again 😭😭😭. Initially i thought qing’s love is very deep towards her but she is the one that really love qing’s until the end, even once never blame him at all for what stupid things he did to her.
Finally fully caught up through episode 34... Only 6 episodes left 😬🙈 - The tension is so high right now.
It only becoming more tense even already at end. I crying non stop like baby esp at ep 39.. it was so many touching scenes in this series that make me burst into tears 😭

Brought express n finished watching this series tonight. Ep 39 n 40 make me crying like baby 😭😭😭. Why it has to end like this???!!! 😭😭😭. I dont care!! I need season 2 even if it needs another 5 years to airrr!!!!!! Many scenes make me burst into tears. There are lessons in each story. For romance part, even without any intimate scene, the feeling just from their eyes and body languages touching me so deeply. Chemistry n acting 🔥🔥🔥. Storyline was good except the ending is too hurtful 😭😭😭, pls make it up with a good sequel for them 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
