i already know they all are gonna die except Hongye, so i'm not crying that much during the Mask Group Massacre🥲 but.... when Huaizhu is dying while pregnant but i saw that light comeback on Hongye face, i couldn't stop crying till the end. i just... huhuhu😭😭 he just find his light again after a while, but in just couple of months he'll lost his only last light again and it hurts me so much to see his innocent face who didnt know his wife is dying😭 he's suffered alot😭 i won't blame him for whatever he'll become in the future, because this lil ball of sunshine is just lost all his light and i just want to hug this man so bad💔😢

i'm not sure, but after i carefully think about what Butler Fei said, the most reasonable conclusion is to make Jin Renfeng 'satisfied' so he won't attack them yet (since at that time, HongYe is too weak, and JRF is just getting the pure fire bloodline, Butler Fei also said that JRF is too cunning so maybe the Wangquan manor didn't want to take a risk and prevent JRF to make a plot behind them while Hongye is in his weakest time). that's why HuaiZhu is married with the title of 'Jin Renfeng cousin', that way, Huaizhu can only marry Hongye as concubine bcs the differentiation of their status (Jin Renfeng family cannot be consider having a high status just like Wangquan & Dongfang).

Also that way, they can give assuration to Jin Renfeng because since Huaizhu married Hongye as his cousin, the wangquan manor will 'protect' Jin Renfeng bcs they already become a 'family'.

so... up until episode 30 i was so stunned by how good this plot is, with all those unexpected and jaw dropping twists. it's a solid 10/10. but after that...... i'm in a roller coaster (unfortunately not in a good way) watching the rest of the episodes. don't get me wrong, this show still so soo good, its amazing how the writer can come up with this confusing ideas and make it as a solid (but imo its still a bit messy) plot. But, i don't really like the ending. Its so ambiguous. i mean, cmiiw, but i think it was XXC combined with DL in the last scene with MXL right? i want more explanation on how DL got break-free after got sealed again for the second time. Who released him? and we deserve more screen time for their happy ending! there's only a short kiss at the end since the last kiss on episode 21 and bit cute moment in episode 22. i was expecting much to see MXL x DL, but it turns out they didn't have any romance moment. and its the same with AC x ZM.

hhh.. honestly, am a bit tired watching the last 10 episode because the plot and the amount of back&forth moment is too much. without a sweet rest in between. i demand an extra sweet episode please🥲 i also wants justice for ZM, i feel really bad for him bcs it doesn't make sense how he dies but DL & XXC alive when in fact DL & XXC exists bcs of ZM exists. and why MXL can't love the three of them equally? actually i don't really like the idea of the Female Lead can only love one of the alter ego of the Male Lead. i want her to love them all equally. bcs after all they all are still one person.

However this one still a good watch! First time watching Wang Duo and he's amazing! he got me crying alot here🥲 and ZBB my love huhu hope to see him more in costume drama because he's so ughhh ❤️‍🔥im his biggest fan! and Zenni! lord she's soooo tiny sooo cute i love it when she speaks in a cute tone to ZBB and how small her face/hands in the giant hands of ZBB. can't resist the cuteness!! good job to all the casts!👍🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻

woah woahhh i loffff this soooo much! i really love it when i didn't anticipate about some drama at all or dont even know it existed before but turns out its so freaking good like this! everything here is just *chef kiss*!

MXL is such a badass and strong character, and i love it the most when the female lead is kind of naughty, straightforward and make the first move toward the male lead. its so exciting to watch! it gave me A Journey To Love female character vibe which is my favorite one! not to mention the plot twist, i wasn't expecting that at all. i love all the character here, there's not a single dull moment here!

AND THE KISSES. LOOOORD! there're sooooo many kisses but how come it got me everytime?? my heart couldn't stop stomping and my stomach feel tickled everytime they kissed! i mean, i tend to feel bored and not 'feeling it' anymore after i saw a few kiss in other 'so-many-kisses-drama' before. but TBL is not! the deliver-feeling, the tension, and the built up for their romance here is so heart fluttering everytime, is so rare!

plus! i also looooooveeeeeeeeee our XXC aaaaaaa! he's so ascdhskapfhbqpwrup 😳🫶🏻 he's also so strong but gentle and passionate at the same time. everytime he shows his power, i cheered!🙌🏻

this is the best drama to start this year! im pretty this one is ranking so high in my list (eventho i dont understand why the rating is so low here, i almost got tricked and passed by this masterpiece because i saw the rating before). 11/10 so far! love it too much❤️‍🔥

so, between the Sad Ending King & Happy Ending Queen, i guess the Sad Ending King is slightly win on this right 😅🥲

Despite on the rushed and very open ending (i was literally confused bcs YZJ suddenly disappeared in the last 15 minutes without further explanation 🥲) i will still giving this series a 8.8, one of the best this year, the story since episode 1 is so exciting, unique, good and detailed. i think this is the first chinese costume drama who has 'pirate/ship' vibe (idk how to call it, but i really love how they have a lot of setting in a big ship and sea, its so fresh!) i also love the cute love story between CSJ and ZW, i was crying for ZW as much as i cried for YZJ🥹

but indeed, after all the detailed plot (until ep 38 i think (?)) i was literally shocked bcs the ending is so anticlimax, not only about YZJ, but the ending for Yuchi Wuyi and Prince Ying too, we should've got a more satisfying revenge ending scene for them. However, as i said before, this is still one of the best cdrama series this year💓 no words can explain how i love YZJ & DW so much🦋(more like i love LYN & ZLS sooooo freaking much!) hope they will have more project for the third times!

btw i'm typing this with a very swollen eyes due too much crying for my YZJ&DW🥲 their crying acting is so huhuhu💔
