Half of the season is behind us, so it's time for a short summary: the drama seduces with an intriguing mix of mystery and romance. From the beginning, my favorite characters are the kidnapper (it's a pity he has so few scenes), Park Do Jae, Kang Yeong U and Baek Sa Eon. There is a great chemistry between these three actors that you can see on the screen. Surprisingly for me, Kang has grown into the comic relief of this series and Park... you know who 😉 As I mentioned before, this is my first series with YYS and I am delighted with it, especially in the scenes when he shows a different side of ML. When he is broken, helpless or when he cries, these scenes are my favorites. I had high expectations for this drama and I was not disappointed. Absolutely my Top 3 this year, next to Mr Plankton and Liberation notes
That's right. In 2022, an original series premiered, telling the story of a modern girl who falls in love with a conservative boy and gets pregnant. A fresh, original series showing the clash of two different cultures. Currently, the 3rd season is being broadcast and is the most watched series in Turkey, but there is no trace of the original story. Now, from an original idea, it has changed into a common series where there are only romances, betrayals and breakups. It's a shame about the wasted potential, but they have the highest rating. Apparently, this is the kind of TV that Turks like
Recently, the Turks did a remake of the hit K-drama Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce). The series was canceled after 4 episodes due to low ratings. They also did a remake of Dr. Romantic. The series got two seasons
This is just a guess. Why is kidnapper so obsessed with Sa On?Why did he tell Hee Ju he's the one who knows Sa…
In my opinion, the mother had to choose what was more important to her, being a mother to her son (a psychopath) or maintaining her status as a daughter-in-law (a wealthy family). She sacrificed her son and exchanged him for a better model that fit the family
The boy from the orphanage who killed the cat and the kidnapper are the same person. Perhaps the mother, knowing about her son's psychopathic tendencies, got rid of the boy and instead took in an orphan who met the standards of the family (ML's mother's flashback before she spits wine on the photo of her father-in-law indicates this). That's why now the kidnapper wants revenge on ML. The only question is what happened to this boy all these years? Who raised him?
Drama for a more demanding viewer. You have to watch with concentration because the mixed timelines can be confusing. Several people connected by a secret and traumas from the past. A dead body connected to each of them. A mysterious company dealing with contractual marriages. The atmosphere is full of secrets, a bit psychotic. The picture focuses more on the twisted emotions of the characters. The action develops slowly but is engaging.
ML doesn't want to divorce his wife so as to avoid scandal and gossip, but his own behavior will lead to gossip that he is having an affair with a sign language interpreter unless he quickly explains this misunderstanding 🤦
I was distracted during the childhood flashback scene and missed Baek Sa-eon's backstory. When his mother told…
Maybe he's grandpa's son and therefore related to them by blood. There's a reason they mentioned grandpa twice in the episode and both times his "father" was furious about it.
After watching 4 episodes my questions are: 1. what are the kidnapper's real motives because as we know it's not about the ransom 2. why did this kidnapping come out now and not earlier or later? Does it have anything to do with the presidential election in which ML's father is running? 3. who is the kidnapper's accomplice and who is the kidnapper himself (I have theories about the accomplice but not the kidnapper) 4. who is this boy from the orphanage
My guesses ML already guesses that the wife is the "kidnapper" but is looking for some confirmation. He didn't reveal that he knew because that's the only way he can talk to her and hear her voice.
The drama has a Back to the Future vibe. Although I admit that it was hard for me to get through the first 2 episodes. They were simply too boring for me, it only became interesting when ML went to the past. Great chemistry between the actors playing the young father and son.
At first I wasn't even interested in this drama. In the end it turned out to be the biggest surprise this year and one of my three favorite dramas. I knew what was waiting for me in the first scene of the first episode, but I still set off with Hae Jo on the last journey of his life. Throughout these 10 episodes I laughed and cried with the characters while listening to the great OST. I only regret one thing, that I started watching this drama so late
The so called college friend is the kidnapper, (I suspect). She’s stupid enough to keep calling him, for what…
If the friend was a kidnapper, she would recognize him by his voice. The kidnapper knows about a secret that only seven people have known so far. But how does he know about it?
