They haven’t yet shown us the full story of how WZS lost his memories and turned into a child. But I think it happened after the battle with the Former Cat Lord. During that fight, the Sinister Fiend Infant lost both his body and his core, leaving only his spirit trapped inside the Bone Relic, which was buried in the earth. Later, it resurfaced in the mortal world with the help of the fruit.
As for WZS, I believe he was also gravely injured. Because of that injury, he lost his memories along with part of his demonic powers. And since his master had lost his core, WZS also lost his powerful demon form and was reduced to a child with no recollection of his past. Now that the Bone Relic has helped his master’s spirit break free, WZS has regained both his memories and his powers.
One more thing: WZS is not a half-demon—he has been a full demon since birth. It’s only WZ who is a half-demon.
OMG, the seniors of MZY talk way too much. Hopefully, they don’t get too much screen time after episode 23. So Sinister Fiend Infant wants to rebuild their own kingdom in Chang'an ruled by himself. 🤯
