I believe in Coroner's Diary the main thing was about Shen Wan wanting to clear his father's name like that's the main agenda/core of the drama. During this procedure other character's were introduced But main centre was always FL's crave for seeking justice for her family./clearing family's name. All the other character's were only their to support her in her journey of seeking justice for her family. Whether it's Yue Ning or Yan Li or even the ML/Yan Chi. They were all their to back/support her. But in The Wanted Detective its different. Here the core of the drama is finding a criminal who's creating havoc in the Qi kingdom so the Emperor has given them the duty to find that culprit. But while finding that culprit Bei Ming gets entangled. So eveyone has their own past stories but together they solve this mystery of Yesha. So basically both dramas are about investigation, cold cases, mysteries but both of them have a different approach. I BELIEVE WE SHOULDN'T COMPARE BOTH DRAMAS BUT ENJOY THEM.

I don't understand why are people comparing this drama with Coroner's Diary. Even though both dramas are about investigations and cold cases. But both of their approaches are different.
