He was back stabbed by ZBW. Eventhough he was already in verge of death and ready to give gui seal to 3rd enemy volunteerly, he still got killed by ZBW at the end and not to forget it was ZBW who told ZH that he is his second enemy🫡.

I have a different opinion about this. For me all the characters in this drama had an independent existence and their own story from beginning to end. Their decision was left with them to decide just like ZH🤟. Exactly like what crew claimed about the script " characters choice and fate". That is also the reason each character had that impact to make us feel for them. It was GM choice to follow ZBW so he had to face the fate brought by his choice later in his life. He is destined to die by ZBW just like what he did to marquis and Cao as he got what he want and discarded them later. GM knows it and made his last choice to benefit ZH so he could die without regret. For me this is the most realistic end for them.

I think writers want us to think exactly what you write to show the reality of that time. This drama shows how feudalism treated ppl with no status like mere ants and objects that can used for their career unlike many times monarchy is showed as some great time where king and officials were glorified to make drama look cool. But here all are presented in a gray shade which is more close to reality. I am not saying it's all realistic coz after all this is a drama not a documentory. But still I think they come close. That gui seal itself is a mirror to that fact like how these rulers don't mind the lives of those soldiers, converted them to ghosts and made them just a tool to win. I heard this is exactly why this drama recived with this enthusiasm in China and Taiwan.

Yeah..it can't be justified. He was actually using ZH for guidance and 3rd villain for benefit ...bro is too much. But I guess drama left him to judge by us rather than confirming whether he is good or bad. I remember reading such a POV of climax. Like he is in the arc of repeating the cycle. I kinda like that reading. Tbh I think there is more to many of plots and when I read those theories I was like wow, it can be like that too..I actually kinda like this kind of many possible thinking drama..it's fun guessing even after ending...🤟

I really liked how all the villains ended in the way that they deserved🔥.
1st - suicide in front of his own son coz he left with no option and cornered by all the plans of ZH just like Kai duo and ZH situation 🤟
2nd villain - backstabbed by his own partner just like how he was to others through out his career 🙌
3rd killed - by silence and truth just like how he was all silent throughout the story
yet planning everyones death through manipulating ppl through half truth and half lie✌️
For them it's really comes in full circle and karma served them right 🔥

What a brilliant writing 🤌

Not only he knew who was the 3rd enemy but was also working for him😶. Bcz he was getting benefit from him and zzx was never guilty of his act. He only started to shift his thinking when ZH told how 3rd enemy was his benefactor too and it was him who told about his enemies and how he made him killed marquis despite marquis and 3rd enemy known and close to each other for years. That's how selfish is 3rd enemy to avoid all the ppl in his way and he will do same with zzx too. It's all explained in detail in the ending episodes.

Xiao Zhan's dramas were always good if not best and that's why he is able to get quality projects one after another. And about xz other roles, I liked them as much as I liked him as wwx. May be bcz I never searched or compared xz roles to WWX or any of his other ones, I always find him as a wonderful actor and never find it less or stiff but as a character requirement by director coz I always saw his directors praising him for the same thing. And also if any role of xz can be really called as break through I guess it's his role from " the youth memories" which brought him a lot praises and awards and helped him stand strong in mainstream from 2023. And now Legend of ZangHai is more than a break through drama that is an explosive drama which is a total different category🔥. So happy he can maintain both quality and quantity❤️🫡.

I also think ZH is XZ's best role along with his role in "youth memories ". For me, I never felt ZH was relying on luck but mostly on his knowledge and manipulation power. The only thought I had was he got a lot of unknown help which make it look kinda easy for him to execute his plans, but now we know who was helping him all along and for what. Like what crew said the whole script is based on " characters choice and fate" and ZH has to face the fate/ results that brought by his choices each time. His vulnerability make him a more human and that's actually the foundation of ZH character. So I think if that character template is changed that won't be ZH at all but a new person🙂.

I also find it as a lowkey shady post towards xz😶..

This is LoZh drama page. But instead of analysing the drama, you were more into talking about another xz drama in a shady way, it's okay that's your opinion but then you also brought another person completely irrelevant to this drama page and praised him which I don't think is acceptable in any MDL pages of any other drama and actor🙂. You can try doing the same thing in wyb drama pages by shading him and praising xz. You will get treated in worse way. So it's better to respect individuality of actors❤️.

Finally finished. I am really gonna miss this drama. What a wonderful drama. There was never a dull moment from beginning to end🫡. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every episode and drama kept me engaged by letting me guessing and failing the upcoming plots most of the time🫡. The only thing that comes close to my prediction is the 3rd enemy even though I had a few other candidates too😁. Another huge advantage of this drama is talented actors. Xiao Zhan, what a phenomenal actor you are🤌. Also all the other characters especially our villains 🔥🔥🔥. This is also my 1st time actively involved in discussing a drama. It was such a great time here predicting plots and sharing thoughts and spoilers with eachother🫂. Thanking the whole cast and crew for giving such a wonderful drama experience ❤️. I hope ZangHai to stay happy in every universe🥺❤️.

You know who is risky? The ones who are finding it difficult to enter crews for years 🥲. For xz he is working back to back with top directors showing his top position in industry☺️. And all xz dramas and movies did best in their respective genre✌️. Only ppl who can't differentiate genre difference and compare two different projects will call it flop for just sake of their satisfaction. Like his recent movie despite a niche genre that not so popular but still did wonders in BO fighting with all those popular genre movies of same time and became the top wuxia movie in Chinese history ❤️‍🔥. Producers know who brings real money and data and they will reward with best works like xz and ppl who couldn't bring profit will have to wait for investors years to get into crew🫡.

Yeah... We literally saw him grow and that makes ZangHai growth so personal to us😭. I remember the time we were so doubtful about some of his choices but at the end, he proved us wrong with his survival skills and determination. And I also liked the fact, they made him more human at the end rather than a person who completely consumed by hate❤️.

JOL role was one of his starting roles and he was inexperienced that time. But overtime he improved a lot especially his live performances in stage drama ADLAD made him a polished actor and now one of the most sought after actor in cent❤️.

Different opinion is completely acceptable...but op claim of drama giving her high expectations and she watched until climax and then giving 1 star not even an average score?? Looking this acc, it look like an acc created only to downrate LoZH😶.

You give it 1⭐. So it's clearly not to ur taste. But it's okay ppl can have different taste. There are ppl who don't find him dumb and clearly liked the climax. So it's not about "poor writing" but taste difference 🤟.

This series is of different template and is based on how ML use his brain to enter court where his enemies are working and how he will resolve the mystery through his puzzle solving and manipulation power. It's already mentioned in the early episodes his body is unfit for martial arts and being a strategist is the best way for his revenge when young ml asking his master's to let him learn martial arts. Also there are instances later which showed if he really knew martial arts and fight, his enemies would not have let him close to them.

Your observation make sense🤟. But yeah let's see how it really turned out as this drama always give us surprises. So I am expecting a good plot over the 3rd person 🫡.

Now I am started to guess Antu's sister also as 3rd enemy🫣. Just guessing coz now she got back her country's object and is now queen thanks to cao killing her mother 🤔... anyway it's fun guessing and disappointed later😁😭.
