The story arc in recent episodes is even more confusing! This is a very entertaining show though so it’s easy to binge. Maybe you can pause until all episodes are out and full reviews are out though.

Yes, people are nice here. That’s what we had with “When Destiny Brings the Demon” and, for the most part, with “Pursuit of Jade” (until episodes leaked and comments page got invaded by trolls/haters).

I agree. But they have to be set up well. Oftentimes C-dramas seem to want to have a sad ending just for the sake of having a sad ending or to make it more meaningful/serious. Take a drama like “A Beautiful Lie” for example — it was a pretty good (not great) drama until the last episodes when things went off the rails so much that it now has 6.5 on MDL 🙄

Thanks! I know FoF is great but honestly haven’t brought myself to watch it yet because it’s hard to invest 20-40 hours in a show with a sad ending. Optimistic open endings is the most I can handle, lol 😆

I’m mentally preparing for heartbreak for WuWu CP. Too many nice scenes in the illusionary world isn’t a good sign 🥺😳
