any recommendations for cdramas with similar chemistry?? this was so good
Two best known dramas from the same author are “You Are My Glory” and “Love O2O” (personally like YAMG more). “Amidst a Snowstorm of Love” features the same FL actress and is a nice chill slowburn drama. Author of AASOL also wrote “Love Me, Love My Voice” which is a great stress-free drama if you just want to chill and not worry about anything (very feel-good; a lot of food/cooking and singing).
Like others mentioned, The Best Thing is similar in vibes to this drama (mostly chill but some stress from FL’s ex). There’s of course also The First Frost which features great chemistry and great performances but has some very stressful moments for our heroes (especially FL).
lol 🤣, at least CXX didn't die in his last period piece 🤫
Totally valid approach :) I enjoyed it because it was mostly stress-free so it was an enjoyable watch without too much drama (some drama came from FL’s sister’s evil ex). Sometimes we just need something relaxing ☺️

You were luckier than the rest of us. Not that MDL ratings are a great reflection of quality but when a drama goes below 7, you know things went very, very wrong 😑
On the other hand, have you watched My Boss (CXX & ZRN version)? That one is underrated in my opinion. It’s mostly light and feel-good. One of the rare times when I wished a C-drama had more episodes (this one had 36). The premise is not anything special but the leads elevate it a lot. I wonder if ratings were caused by a confusion between CXX & ZRN “My Boss” (2024; 36 episodes) and micro-drama “My Boss” (2024; 80 episodes).

It’s #1 example I give to people when discussing inexplicably bad endings. The drama had a good cast and was pretty good up until the last 2-3 episodes when things went completely off the rails. It’s as if original screenwriter(s) got kidnapped by aliens and director had to use scripts from a different drama. Only instead of finding a romcom script, director found a script from bleak, heartbreaking melodrama about loss & grief. And even then, the ending still didn’t make sense and was confusing.
that fl friend with bangs who's quite and smile almost all the time is soo pretty 🫠 also yin jie is such a…
Yin Jie is very nice! They didn’t show secondary pairs and — while I was rooting for Yin Jie & Doctor — it’s more realistic that way. In a real life, your best friends don’t automatically start dating your partner’s best friends 😬
They talked about rocket launch in the last episode, does that refer to YAMG?
I don’t know if they officially confirmed a connection but rocket launch 🚀 + space satellite 🛰️ with solar panels makes me want to believe that FL’s company here provided solar panels to ML’s space institute in YAMG 😁
In You Are My Glory, they got married at the space station or aerobase whatever it was called. In SOM, they got…
Yes, but I think my favorite moment is when secret police caught paparazzi 😬 Definitely a major advantage of dating someone who works in a closely guarded facility 😁

It was a hotel — they were concerned about information leaking (about FL being one of the brides) and the leads told organizers that if anything leaked, they would escape from the hotel to avoid inconveniencing all the other couples. Man, YY was so cool when he came out and installed cell signal booster for the movie crew’s camp ⛺️
Yes, of course :) But that doesn’t always mean stories take place in a same universe. But others mentioned that Feng company was in Boss & Me and Love O2O, so it’s ALL related 😁
