I like baijingting's dramas but I am glad this drama was just a rumor because I hate remakes and pinocchio was a major hit drama with leejongsuk so most of the people have already seen this.it is not fun when we already know the story.there is no thrill in watching already watched story.

Not every time but once in a while,I think baijingting check social medias though because he seems to enjoy using those medias.

Looking at his filmography patterns,I think he will do drama like the first frost in future, maybe next year as he already is linked with 'war and people's which is scheduled for 6 months this year.

I sometimes wonder if actors visit websites as MDL and IMDb or other social medias to see how audiences are responding to their dramas,what fans are expecting from them and also about rumors or melons and how fans are fighting against other actors fans or against their negative rumors or defend them.

Yes,I wished for it too.i came to watch this drama after watching yanxi place but I was a bit disappointed.I thought they would have explored that part more as they had a 2nd collaboration.

It deserves more than 9.but what can we say.it is what it is.Totally unfair.It is the best thing netflix gave to me in 2025 i.e introducing me to this masterpiece and baijingting.

The drama will get a maximum budget only if producer are sure of story and star cast.Noone will hire an actor when his reputation is deep low.so if apology help an actor on betterment of his reputation he can get better dramas with strong screen presence.xukai is already a popular actor so,little push can help him regain his lost popularity and more actresses/directors/producers will be more confident in co starring with him.

In china, most of the audiences commented this drama as the worst suspense drama or hard to watch drama.I like to watch baijingting's drama but this drama was a mess with lots of loopholes.I am not saying this because baijingting has not proper screentime or his character was badly written but the whole story and event was a disappointment.In douban this drama has rating of 6 which means poor or average reviews.These kind of dramas aren't mostly watched by global audience,these kind of dramas are solely made for Chinese audience without much expectation from global audience.But even in its own country it was poorly received.So it is not underrated,but the drama itself is bad.Here you can see people commenting on the drama on douban here :-

In douban,it seems the book is not well received and many are complaining about depressing ending.people are saying that this is nothing special and had just a simple typical storyline.

I saw a post that says someone named liu moumou apologised to xu Kai by writing a hand written letter for spreading rumors or defamatory case.I hope it help xukai regain his reputation and offered a good high budget male centric drama.why people are so against yuzheng.who is he?did he do anything bad to xukai?

You are right too.is the drama adopted from book or novel or is it a original ?Also it is about preferences,I am not into historical crime investigation dramas,it would have been nice if it was a modern drama,solving cases with modern technologies and with interesting twist.So,I am happy this drama shooting is finishing sooner.

This drama doesn't even deserve 7.5 it gets this rating only because of powerful cast.worst drama of xukai acting career.

The only thing good about this drama is when xukai,Yang zi and grandmother or when xukai and Yang zi were together.for that alone I can give this drama 9/10 rating because they have strong chemistry.Except for this,I would give this drama 3/10 ratings.It is a irritating drama especially the mom's character.I would rather watch YouTube short clips than watching this whole drama.I watched this drama with fully utilizing skip option.Is there any methods to suggest MDL to request to put mom'character to main lead and xukai to supporting role because the order in credits is wrong.it is a total scam.

That's the main reason this drama has divided reviews,They have mainly focused on FL story and neglected ML's storyline.I guess that's why it's rating is 8.2 otherwise it deserves more than 8.5 if they had fully explored ML'story rather than sharing more screen time with supporting characters. this drama had lost its audience because this drama start very slow and had useless moments and too many support characters.Also there was false rumors spreading during its broadcast.But I doubt those rumors played any negative review on this drama,The writing is pretty bad.

Xukai was mainlead on 'best choice ever' too but he had less screentime.The FL's mother had more screentime despite being on supporting role.

I saw on twitter post that xukai has almost finished his shooting.Does anyone knows about this next projects?I am glad that he finished the shooting early,it doesn't look much interesting project.

It suits his character as Heinley 's character is playful and serious when needed,but I am worried about no.of episodes they are adopting. 10 EPs are less let's hope each episodes will be longer.
