I love this series - it’s dramatic without being overdramatic/emotionally charged… like it’s just right?…
I’m lazy to go back and do a commentary so I’m just gonna start from from ep8
1. Drunk In was adorable 2. Kan..surprise.. not 3 Wan & Thap’s convo was REAL af (sucks that your ex becomes everything you want for the next person, sometimes timing matters and that can be hard pill to swallow)
I agree with everything. The comedic roles were turning out perfect until it was done by Book, Poon and JJ. But…
The way you’re literally in every comment where ppl are rightfully voicing a very valid opinion that Santa is failing to deliver in *this* role is down right crazy fan behaviour..
Frankly, as lacklustre as the ArcArm storyline was, it was carried by the comedic acting of Book, Poon & JJ - so saying Book failed big time in his comedic delivery as Arm just feels disingenuous
Cause honestly does it even matter cause even if everyone was terrible, it doesnt make any difference cause Santa is still bad, but now just with company?
This will be my last comment on this show though.. ill be skipping ep 11 after all..i just hope PS fans can at least have some maturity in accepting fair criticism.. peace

My comments are right there, no point trying to twist them…Obviously what i mentioned was his performance in THK was better in comparison with Santas in P10L which i still standby… and you on the other hand have clearly outted yourself as one of those delusional PS fan that lacks objectivity i was referring to to begin with

I understand wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt & say its the direction, but like i commented earlier New has these cutesy characters across his shows i.e Easter (Forever You), Arm & Gun all have similar characterisation - but out of the three Gun is simply painful to watch…and its very obviously due to the overacting - he might just not be comfortable doing comedy, but its unfortunate that this is the series alot of ppl are going to be introduced to him with (Including myself)?
He's definatly nailing the role. As a fan of neither of the actors on this show, I can clearly say that I'm liking…
ArcArm storyline wasnt really groundbreaking to me..,but at least they seemed natural enough on screen to continue watching it casually...i actually was rooting for PS hence why i sticked around tbh..but Im extremely dissapointed..like i said ill give ep 11 one more chance..but atp i would be needing a miracle to l actually enjoy how Gun is being potrayed by Santa

All i meant is the literal sonnets dedicated to his performance is not an objective take at all & being a fan doesnt mean losing all objectivity..if you enjoy the storyline just leave the commentary to that
However if you actually enjoy cringy overacting..thats perfectly fine, but dont expect everyone else to drink the kool-aid with you..
if it is about acting skills then i'm afraid Dunk will never be safe
Im just here comparing recent works THK vs P10L.. and yes in my opinion he is miles ahead..
I havent watched 12% so ill just take your word on this but again to me an average actor across all genres is superior to being good in drama but being absolutely terrible in comedy to the point certain scenes becomes unwatchable
I feel it's more the director than the actor honestly...and the script
Leads with this type of naive childlike characterisation are a dime in dozen in New’s works i.e Easter (Forever You), Arm & Gun - but only one of them feels like he’s actually trying to potray a 5 y.o (and badly at that)…its painfully cringy & im actually a little mad how an editor saw some of this takes and thought it was ok to be released 😭
