I stuck with this show, even though it was corny and slapstick. I do like the actors, and I hoped the main FL would finally find happiness. But after this last episode, (10) I am angry with the writers. Now that The FL has been so horribly betrayed again, I hope they write her in a backbone, and she sues the arses off the company, and kicks the director to the curb, but only after having all in the company and her ex fiance and especially the director bastard, because he is a cold bastard, gets their full desserts. She should quit now, and get a lawyer. If they write them getting back together again, or continue to make her the sheep, letting others walk over her, I will never watch anything written by them again. Worth the watch!
I agree with some other reviewers that the MFL, should have had more of a backbone or at least shown developing one against her parents and especially her dirt bag sister. There were plot holes: Why did her parents allow her sister to do what she did???? Then pretend they cared for her??? The FL should have cut ties with her family right after that happened. As far as her first love interest, even being blind, or maybe because of it, he should have known the sister wasn't the one he cared for. The story was ok, but it would have been better if the FL was able to "wake up" to her own worth a lot sooner than later and the parents and rotten sister should have gotten more comeuppance for their actions.Was this review helpful to you?
Wow. Intense
I wasn't sure what to think about this one after 1st episode. I knew it would be dark, and the filming is like a black/white noir style. A lot going on, that at first doesn't seem connected, but slowly starts building and before you know it you are hooked. The acting is top notch. If you like psychological thrillers... definitely put on watch list.Was this review helpful to you?
A Slow burn but worth it....
I wasn't sure how I felt about this in the beginning, but I liked how the FL,decided to stand up for herself, and divorced her cheating husband. even though she knew how hard things were going to be, after 10 years of only catering to him, and never getting any thanks.........she realized she wasted her youth on someone who didn't deserve it, and starts over again, from a low beginning. She then goes on to prove herself worthy to herself. The back story, etc.....is good and the acting ability is excellent. Different from the tired trope of women being rescued by an ML. Also, she is not a young ingenue. Miyu rescues hersef.Was this review helpful to you?
