never saw him as weak. timid & uncertain about personal relationships b/c of what his brother did to him, but still willing to be kind & unwavering in his love for XY. but agree they ALL needed to spend time alone, processing & working thru their own traumas before committing to any romantic relationships. and everyone in Jing's family is a monster

and Jing is the one i thought was the best choice for her. they understood each other. and it was ironic that she almost cut him out early on for running out on her when she needed him, but she runs out on him when he needed her most. the show really took a dive for me from there

he's like that because everyone in his family is like that, even granny. they're all psycho

the only reason i'm still watching this, is because i want to see Pei Cong Zhi die a horrible death by the end. the actors have done a really good job portraying these characters, b/c i really hate them & want all but 4 to burn in Hell

why he treated Shang Gu the way he did at the end still doesn't justify him treating her that way, for me. like, he was so emotionally abusive toward her that he literally triggered her to prematurely give birth to THEIR baby.

excellent work of parody for this genre. the absurdity was so enjoyable

at the end, i still really wanna stab Bai Jue every 5 minutes for the next 1000 years

the last one i watched had exactly 1 competent person in the entire show & he died sacrificing himself for all of the idiots around him ugh

personally, after so many shows & movies having a woman pining & suffering over a man & being part of his emotional growth journey, it's refreshing to see it the other way around

he creates xuanji, turns her into what she was, discards her, then tries to force her to be back with him. i liked him much better when i thought he could be the demon king

what in the Nezha is going on here?

comes across as a palace intrigue drama, disguised as sword/sorcery. all of the fantasy elements of the story take a back-seat to the political dealing & back-stabbing of the aristocratic families. can make alot of parts tedious to watch, since the expectation is for a purely high-fantasy show

so i'm the only one that was with Pat from the beginning, and wanted him to get away from that toxic work environment, including Jeng? he could have quit & still dated Jeng without all of the corporate politics

wait, where's the part for Tar's investigation into how to save Chris this episode? oh, uh, skip it for now & throw in another softcore scene. the hornies won't care
