I can understand why you interpret her writing that way, especially since a lot of her dramas do focus on emotionally damaged male characters and healing-centered relationships. But personally, I never viewed the female characters as existing only to “save men” or having no self-actualisation outside of that. To me, her stories are usually more about lonely, emotionally exhausted people finding comfort, understanding, and healing through each other regardless of gender.
And honestly, I think reducing the emotional connection many viewers have with her work to just an “echo chamber” feels a bit unfair. People can genuinely connect with slower, introspective writing styles without pretending to be intellectual or deep. At the end of the day, her style clearly resonates strongly with some viewers while completely missing others, and I think both reactions are valid
The FL’s acting is incredible, she always delivers so well. I don’t know that much about the ML yet so I can’t say too much about him overall, but in this drama he’s honestly really good too. Both of them seem like such beautiful human beings

I mean, that’s your interpretation of it, but I personally disagree. Just because a drama focuses more on emotional tension, flawed characters, or unconventional dynamics doesn’t automatically make it “trying too hard to be deep.” And reducing the writer’s work to “daddy issues” honestly feels more dismissive than actual criticism to me. Not every story is going to work for everyone, but I don’t think people connecting emotionally with it means the hype is fake or undeserved
8.2 is actually insane to me this drama genuinely feels like one of those hidden gems that people will appreciate way more over time because of how emotionally strong and well executed it is!
I feel like it’s probably because the page was added recently maybe the person who created or updated it just hasn’t fully organized all the cast information and posters yet. Hopefully it’ll look more complete later because the drama itself honestly deserves a much better page
