The fact that he knows she will die to save the world and prepare himself for it shows how fitted he is to be the remplacent of the dragon deity. I so agree with this. Perso, My only concern with the story, is the difficulty to match the timelines of all the past events. I even watched the illusion arc twice to see if there were any inconsistencies between the informations so far, but it was perfectly elaborated, even if confusing when digesting for the first time.
But I trust the story to unfold more about the times and understand more about when the dragons sealed JY, when the star stone did have time to witness tge birth of the 10 th dragon, roam the earth, and come back as its master, and what is actually happening with the real CW reacting at some point with each characters.
After that, I agree that the story is in control of itself, and the informations are gave this way purposely for us to enjoy the ride.
Ps: I don't even dare complain about the one episode per day things, since each are charged with their amount of twits and revelations. i really like what the team is doing so far with this drama

I think that would be the best choice then. Not feeding into it, and redirect the talk on the actual show

The demon is affected after the merging, in my opinion. He may have took up to 90 years to devour YWH completely, as LJ came in the sect 10 years ago, and WYH left the sect to die 100 year ago, but in the illusion arc, When he was recalling the flashbacks of the real explosion, you could see he was in a confusing state, as if fighting feelings. So now I guess it will be hardrr for him.
YWH surely will die in the end, but I really hope that he will take the butterfly down, or foce it to betray its real master before doing so.

No really since the start. The fighting was more obvious this week, and even this morning when we were clearly focused on LY couple , we still have this talk in the comment section. And no one is playing hero here. Obviously, a hero would be able to resolve something, and not complain about it

That's his signature style in his recent works ( it was nit like that in ice fantasy), but maybe its not everyone s cup of tea. I am someone who love visuals a lot, so I like his style very much. I won't say he sacrificed the story for visuals, but that he is better at showing them. And while I agree Xiaomei s arc could have been shorter, as the story does not revolves around cases, if the last episodes are not rush, that means he knows what he is doing.

There we have a plot being told in a complex way, revelation and twist keep updating the already overwhelming informations they throw to you, each question is answered to leave you more with more questions...but you have people who are fighting for actors or couple screentime, or characters who are supposed to be more important....🤦🤦🤦

If i was watching another drama, i would be happy for Li Jie being back. But with the complexity of the plot, I think that both brothers has successfully merged, making him at the same time LJ, YWH and butterfly demon. But what really matters is in the end, which side will he choose

I think its not everyone s tastye I personally did not like it. Was it bad? No? But either the elements or the presentation of the plot did not interest me. I did not like the jokes ( or they flew over my head?), and the emotional attacyis not there yet.
We have a FL who so far is presented as constantly agressive ( and rightfully so), she is supposed to appeal to people with her wityness, her cleverness, and her overall capabilities, but so far the side showed are not really sympatics for me. But I guess we will get more of her in next episodes.
Ml was just there, brooding, playing the black sheep, his backstory of a strick/miserable live already playing ( can't we have for one a Ml perfectly balanced mentally and emotionally?) but there again, its too soon to jump in conclusion, as there are too many things to unfold.
But again, first episode did not seem that impactful for me. Whichbwas quite surprising because first kdrama are often captivating and promising, to the point where early episodes are better than the latters . but i am really interested in the world building, and how they are going to handle the politics.. its my first time watching joseon interrupted timeline in modern drama.
