It was honestly not that long, and I looked at the leaked scene after the official one, and was disappointed, because i expected they removed something big
I remembered some people who read the boom said ut was a transmigration story. And said her scret should be about that. But as you said, no word from him means eternal questioning for us lol. But somehow i am okay with it, as I badly want my man to be alive with his fiery wife.
From what I understood in the last episode, the butterfly demon was sent to merge with YWH and retrieve his memory. Real YWH should have died 100 years ago ( mentioned in early episodes after Xiao Mei s case), about 50 years after the events in the illusion. When he went to die in the cave , the butterfly trapped him there. The empress said it took the butterfly a lot of time to subdue his conscience and merge with him, and i will assume it took it 90 years, since JL came to the scet , fine ass naked only 10 years ago. My take is that his conscience was not totally subdued, and slipt the man in two ( maybe it is also because the butterfly demon is 2 entities himself) one who seems to keep his human s capacity, as so far, LJ was always described as human ( Bai Ze s thunder harmed WSG when everyone thought he was also human, but he was left unscathed along the other human). He does not have memories, but kept the human part of YWH . He mentioned he has a brother, but its hard to tell if he is talking about the other butterfly, or his own brother, as he said he come to the sect because a voice was calling him here. The other part of the cocoon transformation came out, fully aware of both YWH s indentity and his, sprinting back to the empress so they could continue their plan about WSG. But I think even the demon butterfly is affected by YWH. We saw that he still remembered the death of YWH s brother, and he clearly affect him, and one or two times, we saw him sitting with the Wikipedia book, contemplating, and reciting poetic nonsense like a villian in a path of good character development.
Rewatched it recently, and its not her mom maid. Had to rewind early episodes to see if it was really the maid. Maybe it was the symbolic ending they wanted with having the dead standing on a side. But I refuse to believe the man died off screen after all this time of suffering. Not when the doctor said he could live a short or a long life depending on fate. Lol so I saw the maid, and preferred to draw the conclusion. Did the director evver got a word out about this ending?
How come WSG is not asking dragon diety who he really is? I thought he saw the real Chi wen in the vision.
He saw this from the first vision. But was in a mission to kill his ass, so was surely not interested. He saw it again after the illusion arc, but maybe was busy patching things with his wife, and thought this was another skin ge wore after his real body was sealed( he even called LJ big bro), its only in the third vision he saw clearly they were 2 distinct peoples. And in next episode, they will be addressing that
Character Supremacy...Some don't realised that both TJR and JJY has the most powerful character depth way far…
Talking about Character supremacy, you should in this case only talk about real CW and the antagonist. All of the others are disposable characters from what they showed us so far. Even JL , because he don't have any deity power , and barely the right thing needed to fight the antagonist, as they said early in the story that he is in seclusion to hide and not get himself killed by demon. So far the only character really mysterious is YJL, as asides for the fact she is the last fox, she could be heavily connected to the antagonist. And please, can we stop comparing who is superior to who? I think the story let the 4 leads share equally the screen just because of that. What s matter, is how they will be used to drive the battle with the demon king
At this point, JiuYing is everyone. Lucky demon can get into any body he wants and play around. 🤡
What I like about his possession factor, is that he has to find a weak spot, a breaking point so his vessel can be fully possessed. So he could live a lifespan in someone and never find a crack.
i had a thoughttrailer talked about timejump and wanting to rewind time for your lover..i honestly thought it…
I think we should worry less about the episodes. I noticed they take between 6 episodes to warp up an arc so far ( both Xiao Mei s case and the stone), and take 2 to 3 episodes letting the story breath and flow with whatever they are doing. And with Bai Ze giving his deity pier willingly, thats just one quest to go, then some reveal about the true story, and the final clash. So even if last episodes have the reputations of being rushed or badly edited, I give the production its credits to give itself the time to do whatever they want to do. Besides yes, I always thought that the travelling in time mentioned in the trailer is about past events, and they are actually in the new timeline. The fact they are taking too much time evolving the story of the fated ones is too sus to be done unintentionally
I really liked Double Wu’s storyline during the Star Stone arc and enjoyed its subdued approach. After hours…
First, I thought they woukd take the " will they won't they bickering couple" route, till at the end one has to sacrifice themselves for the other, and confess their feelings while dying.
Making their story evolve in the star illusion stone was so organic, and I liked how they took they time to even share a bed together (10-20 years). And even if the couple is more solidified than the other leads, it is mainly because they shared a peaceful lifetime allowing them to explore it. I resonate more with the couple too, and I can't wait to see the evolution of our other leads!
