This series is still pretty good & watchable if we didn't dig into deleted or removed scene, because if we didn't know, we won't notice it, but since so many people has also following before the broadcasting begins, we knew what scenes were being removed and in which exact episode, that's what makes people upset

I have no exact idea either, but in China especially Douban, people didn't like it because of the visuals (which is crazy), also a certain fanbase mass downvote it

Internationally, I think it's because of the frustration of getting so many scenes being removed from the show, I think 8 is still solid tho, it's not like it's some of masterpiece-fully crafted drama so far

"The crybaby" and we have yet to see him actually crying in the show, even in the reconciling moment where he wants to cry, he held it for Jiashu, did he even cry when he walked under the rain? in the hall ancestral? or alone in his bedroom? he was just showing his internal frustration

He literally shows Jiashu that how strong his determine is that WANTS to change, to overcome his trauma, how strong he can be, mentally, physically and psychologically.

Also, Jiahao already won his heart before all of this, when they were still a kid, he already had his love (brotherly) for Jiahao no matter what happens, he came back for Jiahao, so he didn't need to win that, he already has-had it

They already deleted 7 noticeable skin ship scenes, and from the trailer and VOD promo they had released before the show aired, there's still at least 4/5 emotional hugs between them we have yet to see, but can we though? 😜
