Don't worry, I also wrote my first comment because I was so frustrated because I'm really sensitive to the acting and I also like JoongDunk's chemistry in general, but the inconsistency in their interactions in the series made me have a hard time while I did wanted to love them there (I also watched 3/4 of Hidden Agenda, but I dropped it because I couldn't anymore, both because of the plot and Dunk's acting and his apparent tics like clicking his tongue (he stopped it fortunately in THK...)). Anyway, GemFourth is also one of my all-time fav', probably just behind FirstKhao, and I'll be really happy to see them in Ticket for Heaven 💕.

To be honest, your "Joong loves Dunk the most, both platonically and romantically.Without Dunk, there is no Joong.Dunk completes him." was pretty intense 😆. It was impossible for me to think you could perceive Joong as an independant person who is also worth growing as an actor without Dunk (and so, like I said in my first comment, with another partner, even if just punctually in a specific series). You might know that Joong said he chose to play in this series because there were First and Khaotung in it and that he knew he would learn about acting because "they're top-tier actors" (and Khaotung also chose this project for JoongDunk - though he didn't specify why). So it's clear he wants to improve. And having a BL partner with really good acting skills might help, since most of his scenes are with his partner. Anyway, what I say isn't important, considering the way GMMTV works and all the fans' attachement to fixed pairs, so JoongDunk will certainly last for many years, no need to worry ðŸ¤.
Couldn’t disagree more. Their on screen chemistry and interactions is what I’m obsessed with and is what makes…
And you're allowed to think that way. I also love their chemistry in general, the issue was more that its strenght is inconsistent depending on the scenes because of the acting.

No offense taken. I understand people might want to see their favorite ship being forever together. I also like seeing mine in many projects together.
But, I can also love seeing the actors of my favorite ships being paired with other people in other series. For ex, I loved GawinFirst in Not Me and FirstMix in Moonlight Chicken. And wouldn't even mind JoongFirst in a series after seeing that scene where Fadel was searching in Kant's pockets 😆 (even Joong was aware of their chemistry and, as the eternal shipper he is, posted their photo on his X account, you can check if you want).
It's just that I consider the actors as individuals, and not the other half of their ship. They have their own worth, life and carreer. In one of his Youtube videos, Perth, one of the main actors in My Engineer talked about how it could be hard as a BL actor to be constantly associated with another person. Sometimes it's ok especially when you get along with your BL partner. But for your self-esteem, and personal life it can be hard. I can't remember the exact example he gave, but it was sth like: imagine you have a dog and he died. Then you post on your social media "I miss you", without thinking too much. Immediately all your fans will think you're talking about your partner instead of checking on you. Most fans care more about the ship than the actors. The ship breaks, it might mean a fall for a BL actor's carreer (at least in term of people's engagement, but if you can't be paired with another person or aren't famous enough it might also be the end of good projects for you). And actors are well aware of it, so how many are really genuine about their ship? I won't deny friendship (it's the minimum in a ship), but for the rest, we must be careful...
Series started for FirstKhaotung and the plot. And... still here for them and the plot 😂. (like always, their pair/acting is top notch 💕, and I'm living more and more for psycho Bison)
The couple FadelStyle is also interesting because of the plot characteristics, and also because a shameless character with a stoic one has always worked well, especially in the ennemy-to-lover trope (cf for ex Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji in The Untamed/MDZS). But the inconsistency of JoongDunk's acting during their interactions is a bit off-putting (and I really wanted to like all their interactions here). Sometimes there is absolutely no chemistry/emotions between them, it's like they're reading their text in front of a mirror (+ when there are wide-angle shots, their body language can also be disconnected from the scene), and sometimes chemistry is on fire 🔥... Dunk is also trying too hard with his facial expressions sometimes (I guess to show emotions), which may make things weird if you're sensitive to it. Two of FadelStyle's sexy scenes had also 0 sexual tension/energy (ex : the scene in the kitchen in episode 4, notably when Style is in a starfish position on the counter), which took me off guard, especially after other really good sexy scenes between them 💓. First time that I witnessed that in a BL, but I guess it wasn't finally an urban legend that it might happen 😅.
Anyway, it's still great that Dunk has improved in his acting skills, and I get it that he had two projects at the same time (and was probably pretty tired), so my respects to him for working hard. But it may be still one of the main weaknesses of the series when you're sensitive to acting like me, because when a JoonDunk's specific interaction is not really good, it may take you out of the series and make it harder for you to relate to their characters. Moreover, Joong is a pretty good actor, and I've seen he's totally consistent (and good!) when he's with First and Khaotung, so I wish he had a better partner to improve even more and give even better romantic/intimate scenes.......... Yeah, I know, one can dream...
Still, the Heart Killers is really fun to watch, can't wait for next episodes 🔥.
Edit: If you read me attentively, you will see that I do think there's chemistry between JoongDunk (and for all that matters, I love it), but I'm not that attached to fixed pairs, so I do think that sometimes it might be good for actors' growth to try different partners - even just punctually - and then come back to their fixed pair (or not, because their new pair may be better). But I know it's an unpopular opinion 😅.
