Well, I'm sad. The series is not that bad, I knew he would end up with Gyeon, but I'm still sad.
I was rooting for Yeon Sang. Not because he was "the team leader" but because he was the only one who cared about Do Ha's feelings. Gyeon is too impulsive and controlling. Kissing someone who's bloody drunk? Nah. Hitting someone just because they took your crush somewhere without informing you? Nah. And I hope the use of the tracking app was agreed upon between Do Ha and Gyeon. Ha Ram stole Do Ha's phone and tried to manipulate him into spending the night with him (with no sexual context, I hope). Unacceptable imo. ( And it did not look like he actually liked Do Ha. More like he wanted to compete and get him. ) And Yeon Sang just genuinely cared about Do Ha being safe and comfortable, every single time.
So my choice would be the team leader. And I'm sad.
As much as I liked FadelStyle story, I hated the story of KantBison. I love both JoongDunk and FirstKhao, but jeez, it looked like their stories were written by different screenwriters.
I liked watching how Fadel gradually warmed up to Style, how he stepped out of his comfort zone for him (like when he agreed to put on a T-shirt and sing at the bowling place, just because Style asked). Same for Style, the change was SHOWN. We saw how Style started liking Fadel, how he worried about Fadel, how he tried helping him.
And what about Kant and Bison? I did not see any relationship development in the first half of their story, tbh. They started with Kant manipulating Bison and Bison blindly loving Kant. And they remained in this state right until Fadel and Bison discovered the truth about their bfs. And after that, Kant and Bison almost randomly made up.
(and the fact that Bison sided with Kant, being ready to shoot Fadel after everything that happened in their lives... oh my boy. I was screaming "FADEL, DARLING, PLEASE LEAVE THESE JERKS RIGHT HERE AND FIND YOUR HAPPINESS IN SOME OTHER PLACE")
And thank you for the scene in the burger place, with Fadel hugging Style after figuring out the truth. I haven't seen eyes being that empty and that full of disappointment and pain at the same time. Thank you for your acting skills, Joong.
Yes, you can see that Fadel is my favorite character here.

If I ignore the fact that JohanNorth should have been given much, much, much more screen time... this was perfect. MaxkyBas are the treasure of the year for me.

I can't fugure out the reason but somehow I love this series with all my heart.
The plot is not that rich, and sometimes characters are stupid, but the fact that the guys TALK... is everything. I'm so used to characters running away from literally everything. Liked a guy? Run away. Not sure about feelings? Say nothing, run away. Concerned about anything? Nope, anything except talking about it.
And Nhai says things out loud which is why the biggest quarrel in the series was caused by Ai dumping Nhai for a girl in Nhai's dream.
