no stunt , just Esther slaying her fighting scenes as always ! !
Not her doing a 360 degree flip. I remember she used to cry because she couldn’t do stunts at the starting of her career🥹 she must have practiced a lot.

Seems like this is a original script now, the scenes filmed this past few days are not from the novel and their are many new characters. There’s also 2nd lead couple now.

The FL styling here is very different from every xianxia i've watched she looks like a living fairy
This styling team took inspiration from early 2000s xianxia drama looks and the styling for this drama is very unique she has different styles for both immortal and mortal worlds.

Personally, I think it's mostly the director. With this cast, the funding shouldn't have been that difficult.
The cgi looks cheap too let’s be honest. What a waste of good cast

It has slight romance, this drama is more about slice of life. They kiss in last 5 episodes after they clear fl’s trauma and past

Anyone knows about heat index of this drama?
Iqiyi is a scam, they signed some contract with the production team, if this drama does well then they would have to pay the production team, so they have been suppressing the hype of this drama. It’s ridiculous. Road to success topped the most popular drama with most discussion volume yet some drama less popular than this has way more heat index than RTS.

I am all for it. I am so tired of seeing 28- 30+ actresses playing the 16 years old girl.
Maybe stop age shaming? They’re actor and if the production team thinks she can play a 16 year old then so be it.

Im currently watching another work of this director and I’m scared💀 I hate his filter, camera angles are okay but he just somehow manages to make look every scene gloomy and cheap. Praying and hoping he does a better job in this drama, don’t wanna waste such an amazing cast to this director.

The scene on the roof top, the acting is just top notch from both leads. “Don’t ignore a bit of reluctance…
I love Chen jingke here but he sometimes seems too wooden, he needs to smile a little.
