perhaps it would be better for you to wait for the second and third episodes. often the first episode isn't very engaging, and we give up watching before seeing the others.

my verdict, after only watching the first episode, is that it's good, but it has something strange about it. i think it's the dialogue and a lack of seriousness in the characters. i didn't like the tutor's character very much; yim's is great. the cinematography is impeccable; it's a little strange to see something of such good quality but weak in terms of plot and characters. maybe it will improve or worsen; i'm giving this BL a chance.

from what i understand, it's showing everything from the beginning. like the tonfah and typhoon arc, we saw many scenes before they entered college and everything started. in a few episodes it will go to the "present" because this is their past.

look, sometimes putting your project on a streaming platform like iqiyi, netflix, and others is more profitable than putting it on youtube. often we have to go down paths we don't want to, and as a brazilian fan, i don't even have a choice. streaming services here in brazil are expensive; we always have to look for other ways, unfortunately.

i'm wondering the same thing! i thought things would move slowly, that we'd see them getting to know each other, getting involved, getting married, and then discovering the lies. and the next episode will have already advanced a lot, judging by what we saw in the preview. i think there must be a lot more story that we don't know so that the beginning is fast-paced and the rest isn't drawn out.

at first, i didn't understand the reason for the hate either, but after watching the series, i understood. it's not about the actors, but about the poor direction of the BL. there were many episodes focused on Hill and Easter, and when it was time for Johan and North, they kept appearing and taking up too much screen time. this was such a big complaint from viewers that Wabi Sabi issued a statement apologizing and announcing that episodes 14 onward would focus on JohanNorth. i don't think PondEarth is bad, although i don't like Earth's super expressive character. I found their part cute, but JohanNorth really hits me differently, and i just wanted more of them while i had to endure Hill and Easter with too much screen time 😞
