Wang Hedi was misdirected
I've seen so many people say that Wang Hedi's acting is wooden in this, and that he needs to keep studying acting. I agree that his acting is not very expressive, but having watched Ever Night 2 which was before Miss The Dragon, I think he was told to act that way. His acting was fine in Ever Night 2 (maybe a tad too cheerful at times). This didn't get interesting for me until her third life. Overall, I liked it. I don't feel the need to rewatch it, but my daughters (5 and 8) loved it and rewatch it a lot.
