BTW, I have to say that watching Ten Days was fate haha. It was my first time using iQIYI that time and Ten Days was being aired. I thought of passing time as I wait for more HMH's plays...

So when I saw his face I was like WTH WHY IS HE HERE?!

I didn't know anything much about him. And he was also very low key. I thought, oh man, how is he gonna compete here? Can he even?! My thoughts probably were exactly the same as those other participants who thought what was an idol doing there?

And then when I saw the scene of him cooking something for Rong Yao, I realized that he was a grounded person.

During that first challenge, my thoughts all the while was, it is okay HMH, just let the smart ones handle it. You can do the running (getting the phones). I thought he must be feeling awkward not being able to contribute much, then he voiced out his very valid and logical opinion (that everybody seemed to have ignored lol BUT NOT ME!) and yeah... like dude, you actually thinks rationally.

Damn and he proved us wrong. I was so proud of him.

My intro to Chinese Dramas was Word of Honor. Just because I thought Gong Jun's WKX was beautiful. I liked him for a short whilr because of his laugh, but it did not sustain my interest in the long run.

I love beautiful men, I will be honest haha. So when I saw Wang Ye, my first thought was OMG, A BEAUTIFUL TAOIST!! I thought he was the main lead, so I was a bit disappointed when I found out that only a handful of episodes have him. But it was okay. IAN was still satisfying.

And this was when I explored various platforms just to his face lol.

I really like beautiful men. I used to like beautiful drawings of men (for 30 years!) But Hou Minghao changed me.

I learned Dashing Youth was to be aired and while waiting for it, I watched BFTB. Recognizing Zhou Ye from WOH was an added bonus (because I liked her). But although I love HMH's portrayal of Tian Yao, Tian Yao himself was boring for me. LOL. That was because I was looking for good martial arts scene coming from watching IAN.

So I was more satisfied with Dashing Youth. Although the good fight scenes decreased midway of the play, it was good. I do repeat watching Dashing Youth because I love Baili and repeatedly watch Go! Dashing Youth because of HMH.

It was after watching Ten Days and DHTR6 that got me more invested in him because not only his face was beautiful but more so his character.

And now I think that he himself is an interestingly beautiful character. So I keep on watching his shows not because I like watching cdramas, but because I want to get to know him more from the roles he portray.

And I only like the other actors if they are good with my fave person haha. So I like and support those who have been good with Hou Minghao. But I only really watch shows with HMH because I am not interested in anything else.

I do acknowledge the good and better actors within his circle though. But I don't really watch series, movies and VS as a hobby or to pass time so...

There is a version of synopsis that seems male-centric. I just can't find it again. I actually don't mind as long as the script is good and everything is transparent right from the start.

Setting aside the issue of FL, and Xiao Hou's health, I read QG's synopsis and I find the story interesting! The narrative I read seems female-centric, but nevertheless, the character of the ML seems like a perfect fit for Xiao Hou's preference. I am truly excited to see this aired. I hope for a more mature and darker direction... but. Yeah. *crosses finger*
