My Weekend Happy Pill

Would You Marry Me is the kind of com-rom that stays in your heart long after the final episode. One of the brightest parts of the drama is Jung So Min’s warm, natural acting. She doesn’t just portray Meri — she lives her. Every emotion feels genuine, every moment feels alive, and it’s clear she put her whole heart into the role. Her small expressions, her softness, and her sincerity make Meri a character you truly care about.
Her chemistry with Woo Shik is effortless and real, the kind that makes you smile without even noticing. Together, they create scenes that feel comforting, sweet, and beautifully natural. The supporting cast also adds fun, humor, and heart, making every episode enjoyable from start to finish.
Even with only 12 episodes, the drama delivers warmth, laughter, healing moments, and a satisfying story. For me, this drama became my happy pill every weekend. Watching it made me smile, forget my stress, and feel lighter. It’s the kind of show you want to rewatch whenever you miss that warm feeling.
I really love it, now miss them so much.

The story feels authentic, and the chemistry between So Min and Hae In is absolutely captivating.

I finished watching the K-drama Love Next Door about two months ago, and I still can't move on from the Jung Jung couple. I keep going back to rewatch this one on Netflix. The story feels so realistic, like it could happen in everyday life. As an international student, I really saw myself in the female lead's experiences, which made it even more special.

If anyone is looking for a K-drama that offers healing, family, friendship, and life lessons, I highly recommend Love Next Door. It’s one of the most meaningful dramas I’ve ever watched.
