My advice to anyone planning to start this series: aside from keeping a box of tissues nearby 🤣... Please, watch the original version—with the inner monologue.
The inner monologue is what carries the emotional weight of this drama. It lets you experience the characters’ raw thoughts, silent struggles, and heartfelt growth in a way that just hits deeper.
Do not watch the version without it. You’ll miss out on the very soul of the story.
Why's the rating of this drama so low? Only 7.9? Seriously? What’s wrong with the people who rated this drama so low? Did they actually watch the two episodes that were released?
Just finished episode 12. All I can say is it was good, except for the last scene. It was really heartbreaking for Zhao. He did his best to help Qin Ran, but it still ended in so much pain for him because of what Qin Ran went through and the decision she made to end her own life.
This was expected, as Mango owns the rights to the series. The subtitles were delayed, so I decided to watch the first four episodes, even though they were still in RAW format.
Omg, I totally love this! I'm on episode 5 now. He travels back to the past but is in a man's body. The story seems so exciting because she needs to change her future, but first, she has to convince her past self not to get involved with Hua Nan.
Overall, I think the drama is good, except for Mai's screen time. It was cut short from episode 11 onwards, which left her character's story lacking depth and feeling underdeveloped—it feels incomplete. As for Joe and Elvis, their story was perfect. I believe they’re considered the main couple here.
I’ve also watched the previews of episodes 17 and 18 the finale with subs. I hope the one who got married is from one of the two main couples in the story; it would make it better.
I’ve already watched episodes 15 and 16 in the raw. It’s kind of funny because Mai, the main character in the story, has so little screen time—probably only about 5 seconds. Lol. If you blink for too long, you might not even notice she was on screen. It feels like Mai's role got downgraded from the main role to just a supporting one. Hahaha.
