Great attempt at adaptation
This is probably the most enjoyable series I've been since Cupid's Last Wish, Moonlight Chicken & Ourskyy 2. Simply because the earthmix's projects I've mentioned filled me with a quite bad watching experience not only from the story plot but the engagement with audience and creative decisions taken by the production team.— Story
I have my issues with the writing between EP11 - EP12. I think the story is consistent up until episode 10 with a solid progress and attempt. But the writing was really dragging between the last two episodes. The memory loss twist wasn't my favourite I think they could've executed it better. Mo's character is quite inconsistent when it comes to his love for Heng. I acknowledged Mo's insecurity but i think it's absurd that he would not do much for Heng and always run away from his problems. Heng's mom was just a plot device to further push the break up agenda and I think she's poorly written. I wish they'd write better between the last three episodes as it's the climax but instead it did fell flat for me.
However, I still enjoyed the entire show and I think they did a great job at catering to the Thailand audience while still maintaining the essence of the original. They did included a lot of Thai cultures and points that I love very much, it made this show stand on its own from the original.
The slapstick comedy is executed fairly good! If they were to follow the over the top comedy as in the original it would not translate well for Thai audience i think but despite toning it down a bit the comedy doesn't feel way too cringe for me and it's still good.

I am forever grateful that Earth took this role because he's the Haruta i imagined if there were a Thai remake. This is also a good opportunity for him to polish his acting skill and shut off the typecast he's always gotten. This is probably my second favourite role he's ever played after Phupha. He does it so well and he's really one of gmmtv actors that continues to improve from time to time.
Shahkrit as Kongdech was brilliant! I wouldn't expect any less because i know he's a veteran but he is just so fitting the Ossan's role.
As for Mix as Mo, this is not Mix's best appearance for me while Mix always does a good job i think the writing of this character is what makes me feel jarring for Mix. Nonetheless still a good try!

I hope that EarthMix can play more comedy roles, maybe a movie project with GDH? They would nail it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the show and I'm happy for it. Can't wait for more EarthMix projects as they are really talented.
