Yeah, I didn't realize until for a good 20 or 30 minutes into the 1st eps lmao. I wanted to stop watching season 2 to watch S1 but it was too late since the whole plot in s1 was basically summarized in the first half of the episode. I continued watching anyway and I didnt expect it was going to be this good. I always underestimate Chinese drama because most of the previous Chinese dramas I watched before are 5/10. But this drama is different, much different. The actors/actresses suit their roles really good. The conflicts are there but not so heavy. Additionally there are another side couples that kept me away from boredom. It turns out skipping S1 doesn't really matter because S2 felt like a separate series from S1, 10/10 worth rewatching.
