No need, it's two different kdramas with their own characters, we just get occasional cameos from hospital playlist since that drama is set in the same universe as this one but it's nothing major that can ruin your watching experience if you hadn't watched both so no worries, enjoy watching ^-^

there are two characters that have one-sided feelings towards the main leads but they are definitely not showing it openly to them, they are rather keeping it to themlseves and dealing with their own feelings instead of being "overbearing" as you mentioned. They do have scenes with the main leads but it is natural since they are their friend/colleague, there is some slight inner conflict at one point they are having when they realized the main leads cannot reciprocate their feelings and one of them even talks to the fml about it but they both soon move on with their lives without any conflict so don't worry about them too much if you are wondering if you should watch it, you definitely should give it a try ^-^

I don't understand how so many people are still hanging onto this "low quality kdrama" and just continue bashing it in the comments of people who actually enjoy it. You all think it's shit? The only thing I "hate" about this show is how binge worthy it is, I hate how I started watching it while it's airing and now I need to wait all the other episodes to come out so I can get more. Augh but I just wanna binge it all at once, I've been glued to the screen all day watching all 6 eps that aired and I need more, this show got me so immersed. It's not even finished yet but I already wanna rewatch it with my wife. Well might as well do that since we're getting new episode in 6 days...
