I didn’t enjoy this much aside from the fight scenes. Both backstories felt flat, especially the comatose friend, the “resolution” was basically the bully getting beaten up. He should’ve been in prison for attempted murder. I get that the show isn’t aiming for realism, but constantly introducing a bigger, stronger bully every episode got repetitive fast

The best moments were when they were masked and actually delivering revenge. It was also strange how in the first two fights he didn’t look particularly skilled and only won through sheer perseverance, but by the third fight he suddenly became an elite-level fighter. The jump in ability didn’t feel earned.
