I completely agree with this. The way Mu Cheng Yun keeps pestering Wen Yi Fan and constantly invading her personal space is so frustrating to watch. On top of that, he just casually invites himself into her home like it’s no big deal. That’s not "cute" or "playful," it’s disrespectful.

This is why Mu Cheng Yun’s character really triggered me. There’s a scene where Wen Yi Fan clearly said she wasn’t comfortable with the idea of him being her roommate, yet he completely ignored her and entered her room anyway. The drama tries to paint this as something cute and funny, but honestly, I find guys like this the most annoying. It’s frustrating how often this kind of behavior gets romanticized in dramas when in reality, it’s just plain disrespectful.
If you're a woman, especially if you're pretty, you really have to know how to set boundaries and stand your ground. Yi Fan may seem quiet and aloof, but deep down, she’s genuinely kind. She lets people into her space too easily, and that makes her vulnerable.
The hard truth is, some men will cross the line no matter what. There are those who don’t take no for an answer, and that’s why, as unfair as it is, you have to be careful and keep your guard up. I say this because I’ve been through it myself. I learned the hard way that not everyone deserves a place in your life, and not everyone is worthy of your kindness.

I’m on episode 18 😭 The way they portrayed her emotions after the attempted assault really amazed me. I just don’t understand the mentality where, even though the victim is the one wronged and should never be blamed, they are often slut-shamed by society. It’s so empowering to see a female lead who understands that she shouldn’t be blamed as a victim. The world can be such a hard place for women. I’m so grateful that her character serves as a voice for all victims—it’s not your fault, and you should never carry the shame that belongs to the perpetrator.
First of all, I love that she often changes her clothes. Huhuhu. I do agree that the makeup can be a bit distracting, but they're both so pretty! So far, I'm still on episode 8, and I am loving the female lead's character. She's such a queen! Also, I love that the male character shows a range of emotions. He smiles, and he's so gentle when it comes to her.
