It means he is the reincarnation of Hidden Lord Mo Li. just like Bai Shuo and Fan Yue are the reincarnations of Lunar Goddess Xingyue and Demon God Jing Yuan respectively. Mo Li was the enemy against whom Jing yuan and Xingyue fought, coz of this fight all dieties perished and divine realm destroyed. Also Xingyue dies.
