People just emphasize with the characters they relate to more. I love tax evasion and that's why I'm on the mother's side but maybe others prefer robbery. One of them is certainly less harmful than the other

I'm so confused by the people supporting the family despite the theft. Yes, Gang Ju's mom committed tax evasion but they still stole the money without knowing its source. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm glad the people in the drama are more reasonable at least. Getting 1 year of prison time is the least they could get and the judge basically gave them a slap on the wrist since he emphasized with them. I'm not sure how people expected them to get any less than that?

It makes sense why you’d be on the family’s side since you’d steal the money yourself.
Most people would just ignore the money they find since they wouldn’t want to bring troubles to themselves. That says so much about your character if you think everyone is going to steal the money.

I’m not a fan of the ML but saying Tae Joon’s character is more interesting is a big reach lol. His character is completely useless and the drama wouldn’t be affected at all if his character was taken out

The points make sense but I don't think GJ's mother would have been as mad if he was communicating with her more and showing her any compassion. She would've been nicer if he started doing the things he did this episode earlier in the drama.
