A Good Story That Didn’t Fully Capture Me
The story is overall good, but I felt that some important points were not explored enough.
First, the medical aspect of the drama felt more like a background element rather than an essential part of the story. Honestly, I think the same plot could have worked with a different profession, because the only medical moments that really stayed with me were the ML stitching wounds and the acupuncture scenes.
Secondly, I think the character development was a bit lacking. Although there were some moments showing personal growth, I didn’t feel that characters changed significantly throughout the story. For example, the ML overcoming his fear of the sea, but apart from that, I didn’t notice many major changes in their behavior or personalities for him or others.
Regarding the romance, I found myself more invested in the second couple than in the main leads. It’s not because there was no chemistry between them or anything like that; I just couldn’t fully connect with their relationship for some reason.
That being said, the story itself is good. It managed to make me cry, and there were many emotional moments that I appreciated. However, I also felt bored at times, especially when the pacing slowed down.
Overall, it was a good drama with a touching story, but it didn’t completely keep me invested from beginning to end. Still, if you’re looking for a relaxing watch with an emotional story that doesn’t require too much focus, this drama can be a good choice.
