I agree, Shiguang shouldn't even be considered a main character — it was obvious WuWu were just accessories to the plot. I think GJM was just going for the visuals of CDL and Shunxi. But since these actors are popular, it's impossible to treat them simply as a second couple or supporting characters.

God, I was looking through reviews to find people who thought the same, and I finally found this! The romance started out really good. I think they had great communication at first; the female lead protected him, and they tried understanding each other. But then suddenly it just went downhill. I don't know exactly when or how, but I am also so furious that they slept together before the wedding. She was already suspicious of Yan, yet she still let that argument happen. Watching characters who refuses to communicate is such a headache. It was so unnecessary. I also love that you pointed out the part about Yunxi and her lover. I think your points make total sense. Unfortunately, I dropped this at Episode 30 because it felt so unnecessarily long.
