For most of the drama GH has seen DS only as a childhood friend/brother figure. There was that weird stretch for a few episodes where she seemed to think she might have feelings for DS and then she made that weird .. out of nowhere confession to her dad that she really liked DS.. I mean there was hardly any real type of interaction with him that showed them getting closer.. on the contrary she told him several times that they should act like they never knew each other. So I am not going to buy her magical sudden love for him. As long as she is married.. she should keep her feelings for DS as a brother/friend or she becomes a cheater. So they need to get rid of this stupid marriage so we can move forward.
Looks like no one is even commenting on this dud anymore but a couple of us.
There seems to be a lot of frustration with the direction and the non progression of characters. The main characters are pretty much the same as they were on day 1. However It is highly popular in Korea. It has been number one just about every single week in the Nielsen ratings...
Instead of this drama heating up and becoming more intense, it seems to cooling off to the point of being a snooze…
Yeah it is becoming rinse and repeat.. The writer is missing a bunch of opportunities to stir things up... And progress made by out leads are one step forward .. two steps back... I was so dissapointed in GH today during her confrontation with JN .."I trust my husband". .. In what alternate dimension did your husband give you any kind of indication that you could trust him? Oh I know it was when he gaslighted you when you confronted him about him being out drinking late at night with his former fiance who he chose over you once before? That is some kind of assurance GH! Go get him girl! I am pretty sure he will never drink too much with her and make a mistake and sleep with her .. like he did with you! Trust him like he tells you too!
I was thinking .... It would be awesome if JN turned out to be pregnant with MK's baby as well!
On another note, this show gives a perfect example as to why people should never marry for the sake of the kids. GH and MK's marrriage is slowly falling apart before our eyes. Both are to blame ... as their concerns for things outside the relationship take prescedence over their relationship. My experience with dealing with families over the years has shown me, that people who marry for the sake of the children can easily use the same logic to divorce for the sake of the children. It is the same exact coin.. just different sides.

Meanwhile, Myung-ja visits Soo-yeon, who continues to confuse Noah, and scolds her, and heads to Ju-ri's house to give Gong-hee a bo-yang meal. When Myung-ja arrives at Joo-ri's house, he runs into someone at the gate...!
It was broadcasted in Korea. Not sure why it's not showing up on Viki or Kocowa yet.
LOL I have been getting up early in the mornings 5:30 am CST and watching the live telecast on the KBS live website. After the telecast they post the preview text for the next day's episode on the KBS program info site. I dont have subs for the live telecast but I definitely can get a good understading of what happened However the late subs today about killed me because I really wanted to understand that MK and GH conversation at the end!!!

Yeah .. I have come to the point with GH and her family members that I just expect them to choose the most ignorant pathway forward. That is just who they are and they can't really be anything else. However, I do hold out some hope that every once in a while that they will make a mistake in their thought process and choose WISELY :)
I hope GH at the very least moves back home. But, that is a lot to expect from her character.
If show has shown us anything with their previews & cliff hangers .. its not to trust what you see. I do have to say that I was impressed with GH and her conversation with MK. She floated.. the if I cant trust you then I cant live with you threat. It at least shows she is getting done with the MK+JN shenanigans. However, given GH's track record it will probably take another 20 episode for her to finally get to it.

I think she and her family are all pretty stupid. To be fair to her .. She did spend the entire first half of the drama with a huge crush on MK. She slept with him and was happy about it... until he told her it was a mistake... While dating she had ideas of eventually marring him.. the he dumped her for JN. Their breakup was not that far off from their eventual reconciliation and marriage. Her feelings for MK took a definite hit after the breakup. But MK was still nice to her and treated like a good friend after the breakup. She decided to do this because her parents urged her to and because the chairwoman MK, and DS mom told her that it would basically ruin DS life if they got together. Throw in the baby father argument and there ya go!

I agree.. The sad thing for him, is that no matter how well he does, he will not get the chaiman position.. unless DS completely rejects it and his grandmother.

This is one of those dramas that each episode is basically a train wreck waiting to happen... and who doesnt like a good train wreck ? (metaphorically of course)

It is lot!!! I just had to come to understand a little better what the whole angle of this drama is. The Korean title to this drama is basically Lets get married idot. I have realized that the female lead and her whole family are just a bunch of idiots. Thus they will make idiotic decisions. Every one of their marriages is a dumpster fire and will continue to be so.. So I am just rolling with it. It has made it a lot more enjoyable for me!!!
