“Me refreshing every day to check the release date like 😭😭 Please don’t keep us waiting anymore!!”
It will air once the distribution license is issued.
As of now, the drama is still in review process and based on the portal from Yunhe no records found yet about the license so it means no distribution license.
C-drama can't be aired without passing the Censorship review and Grant a distribution approval from National Radio and Television Administration.
Hey everyone, so Love in the Clouds is airing soon, and I'm sure all of us want this to succeed, so here's just…
If you subscribe to Youku China, you must have Alipay or WeChat Pay and link your card. It’s better to link a Visa card since Youku China accepts it. I tried using and linking a Mastercard, but it wasn’t accepted. However, if you link your Visa card to Alipay or WeChat Pay, it may work.
Also, make sure your internet connection is stable when paying on Youku China.
We just got this 🙂https://x.com/Saku_Clover_Mag/status/1974837849485983989
They release the clip and posters yesterday since the drama is surpassed 3 million reservations on Youku, so that a scheduled post for the 3 million reservations milestone.
Today is Mid-Autumn Festival and we got nothing 😭😭😭
Chinese (and Japonese) already have plenty of food-based dramas... they don't need to be inspired by a "groundbreaking"…
Content review comes first. Once it passes, the NRTA will grant a Distribution Approval (also known as a Distribution License). A C-drama cannot obtain a distribution license if it hasn’t passed the content review yet.
Passing the review and getting the distribution license are not the same thing.
The review process happens first before the distribution license is issued.
If you explaining to someone don't skip the content review, since your comment is directly explanation only about the distribution license which is totally wrong.
why is this so waited for....so many reservations and whatnot....is it cause of the actors or is it based on a…
Yeah, you already answer it. Reservation numbers usually mean a lot of people are hyped or curious about the drama. It could be because of the popular cast with big fanbases, the story’s from a well-known novel or IP, or just because the drama itself looks really interesting.
I hate you YOUKU I hope you suffer loss as a company I never cursed anyone like that but I'll do it for you
Yeah, we didn’t get any materials during the Youku Conference, and for sure we also won’t get any materials on the Mid-Autumn Festival on October 6, since some Youku dramas will be releasing materials that day.
I really wish this wasn’t a Youku drama. If TEF were an iQIYI or Tencent Video drama, it would’ve probably aired by now.
You know, I’m already feeling a bit jealous of some historical dramas that are about to air. This isn’t hate, but if you know the drama that’s airing on October 8, I think that’s the fastest historical drama from Youku to air this year. It finished filming in early 2025, got its distribution license just a few months ago, and now it’s already set to air.
Quick question: For the heat index, do they only look at the Chinese version of Youku or do they look at the international…
The heat index is only available on Mainland China.
They don’t count data from the international version since Youku China and Youku International don’t share the same server. It’s the same case for Tencent Video, iQIYI, and MangoTV.
The same applies to viewership; only data from Mainland China is considered.
Honestly wouldnt be surprised at all if this randomly dropped like Love's Ambition or Love in the clouds or yummyx3...then…
Hidden Shadow was supposed to air in May, and it already had a pre broadcast investment promotion (seeking investors and advertisers).
The only reason it didn’t air seems to be that the pre broadcast investment promotion was unsuccessful, with low investment and failure to attract more investors. That’s the only issue Youku considered. Actually, it’s Youku’s fault because they started the investment promotion too late. As far as I remember, they only began about two days before May, which wasn’t enough time to find investors and advertisers for the drama.
The only thing randomly drop is Love's Ambition, that drama is airdrop release.
Airdrop release of the drama is zero promotion, don't expect official announcement of air date.
While, Love in the Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy both have an official announcement
You can check teh official weibo and Douyin account of Love In The Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy, there are realising promotional materials everyday before it's premiere.

Subscribe on iQIYI app or website, that not disappointing since you're not a vip subscriber.

Watch again the primiere date trailer.
After first editing is done (Edit per episode) it can now summited for content review first and before for distribution approval.
Passing the review and getting the distribution license are not the same thing.

Watch again the premiere date announcement trailer, that person is surely the masked guy.
And now, it's already finished filming some scenes, so the production team can resume now for editing.
