I love it when a show makes me go down a willing rabbit hole to learn a bunch of history I didn’t know!

I can’t rate this show higher. I’ll admit there are some pacing difficulties, and it’s not “entry level kdrama”, but the overall package makes it beyond worth it. I’ve watched it twice. This show has spurred me on to look up more about my and other countries history that I was never taught in schools. My heart still aches when I think of certain scenes, and I am still encountering shows that I am excited to see actors and actresses in, because years later I still remember the faces of all of the actors in this show. I’ll likely go back one day and seek out more shows with this shows actors on purpose.

Definitely check this show out! Amazing character development and story writing.
