I cannot believe they killed off Pu'er. SERIOUSLY?! 😫ðŸ˜ðŸ˜±SO not cool.
Exactly! For me, his character embodies hope and having the courage to face the future. Didn't read the source material, but fudge them, they literally killed hope for the series.
Re-watching this again after 3 years... I am in the early episodes and I literally had a resurgence of memories flashbacked on when I first watched this, I started bawling my eyes out and contemplating if I should continue watching knowing there's a few areas that I am disappointed with the series.
I started watching it on Netflix without knowing any context on the drama.... First impression, I said to myself that it gave similar vibes / ambiance to Hidden Love, but with reverse circumstances between ML and FL... And to my surprise, when I've checked in MDL, they're actually connected. I'm bad remembering character names and they didn't use the same actors, but it doesn't matter as I'm here for the story and the current actors are giving justice to their roles... I'm just so happy and sad at the same time, and can't wait for the next episodes...
The return of the son of the Li mother was really a plot hole. Or they problably cut a lot of scenes.
This is one of the rare cases that I hoped they've maximize to 40 episodes.... the last 2-3 episodes were good but felt rush and could have been better... but overall, this series is a solid watch!
