The genre of this drama is Thriller, Mystery, and Psychological, as stated in the details. The GL aspect is minimal, just enough to add some interest. If you're looking for a drama where GL plays a major role, this might not be for you.Honestly, I started watching it because Lee Hyeri looks stunning, but I got hooked by the storyline. I even purchased the webtoon to read the full story. However, when it was adapted into a drama, many things changed. Maybe the only similarities between the webtoon and the drama are the characters' names and the synopsis.
For instance, in the webtoon, Seulgi is not a drug addict, and Jaeyi's sister is a villain as well as an illegitimate child. There are also more villains besides their father—Seulgi’s father died when she was young, Jaeyi’s parents never divorced, and their father is not that severe of a psycho.
I already expected the ending to be different from the webtoon since Hyeri mentioned it on social media. But I really hope it meets my expectations. So far, up to the latest episode, it still does. Next week, the drama will end, and I’m not ready to part with Jaeyi yet.
