I saw on a website that Ski Into Love exceeded 15 million views!

My question to you is how did you not like him when he played a terminally ill patient in Angels Fall Sometimes? Also, how can you not like him in Smile Code where he plays a character suffering from a psychological disorder/trauma from a young event? Lin Yi is a great actor and improved a lot from Put Your Head On My Shoulder.

I think he dubbed his own voice, could be wrong and he might of been dubbed by a different actor. I’ve seen other interviews where he can use a different dialect and speak in a lower/deeper tone so it could of been himself.

I don’t understand the low ratings, or hate this drama is getting. I watched this series at the beginning of this year, and re-watched it again and completed it twice. After watching it, the storyline and plot was well written and not confusing it all. The plot twist about the goddess was well written and kinda made you think on why she looked like that alien form. Zhao Jinmai acted well as the Female Lead even though she was young at the time, and Lin Yi was excellent as well just wished he had more screen time, but I guess since he was young as well he probably had conflicting schedules with his college courses.
Overall, the Blessed Girl was an intriguing fantasy mixed with sci fi elements!

I agree with every word you said about his acting capabilities! I also watched Derailment two months ago and completely finished it. If you haven’t watched The Blessed Girl, it is a costume fantasy costume drama with sci-fi elements. Lin Yi is one of the male leads and his female lead is Zhao Jinmai. The story of The Blessed Girl starts really slow, and I will not spoil it for you. Some people didn’t like the Blessed Girl because it was confusing too some, but all you need to do is pay careful attention to details and use your critical thinking skills to follow along! 😀

he did one costume drama called The Blessed Girl in 2021. At a recent award show when he won an award in December 2024, he did say he wants to challenge himself in 2025 by doing Suspense, Science Fiction, and Costume Drama’s. Hopefully, we’ll see him in different genre’s 😀

I saw an award show last year, and he did say he would like to challenge himself in 2025 by doing suspense, science fiction, and costume drama’s. So, he might be reviewing scripts and choosing which drama’s to be in. At least we get to see him in variety shows, and events. Be patient I’m sure he’ll have other projects. 😊

You should be a subscribed member on Youku YouTube page and watch all episode. If you have Viki Ratuken app, they have 19 episodes of it ready to watch.

I finished watching every episode on Youku app, and don’t understand why some people hates the drama. IMO, it was good and had a good message in the story. Lin Yi was great as always and Esther Yu did a great job too.

IMO, he’s doing a great job in his current role as Coach Chong. He also did well on Angel Fall Sometimes, Smile Code, Love Scenary, and The Blessed Girl. Since PYHOMS was his breakthrough performance, I believed he improved in all of the series he took on, and they were never dull.

Yes he would be suitable in a costume drama as well after watching him on The Blessed Girl. But Modern drama suits him as well. Maybe he should also try Sci Fi too.
