I just finished episode 7 and I am still enjoying the drama. Personally I think the wedding night scene should not have been flashback but occurred in the same episode as his wedding. We are meant to at least pity him a bit but that was hard to do after all of the crazy things that have happened to other characters.

It confused me because he is written as though he is supposed to be clever and this was a poor rookie move in my opinion. I would think he would be able to find someone on his side with the needed skills. He's not the sort to make me stop watching, however. Not like the one from Under the Power and Blooming Days.

I was about to ask about the Jin'er situation. Knowing the rules why didn't ML have his aide bring the tea? They knew that group of women were new to the house. Jin'er was annoying but she's not out there getting people dusted.

I haven't finished it, and from what I have read about the ending I'm not sure I will. We will see. I am guessing Pei and Grand Princess, A Yuan and Liu Chang are the real ancestors. When the family first meets these four there is an air of familiarity.

This does not happen with me often. Many times they will turn the second lead into a bad guy of some sort to justify the female lead choosing the rude, cold-hearted, sometimes violent male lead. There has been one time I liked the 2nd lead better and you can see it in my avatar. Blossoms in Adversity is my C-drama pick.

Hearing about the plot with the mother makes me hesitant to continue and I really liked the drama. I don't understand why they needed to revisit this story after we had moved on from the events surrounding the mother's death. Just let her be ill. There is enough going on without this added layer.
