I think it's personal opinion and personal taste....I don't think the romance was needed. I enjoyed DW's growth & journey, her tragedy and success, so I kinda feel the romance seem like just garnish in a dish, just there for the sake of it. I have no complain about the chemistry & as acting because as usual ZLS & LYN deliver.

Not even Reba's face and Liu Yuning could save this boring brain numbing trainwreck.

I think the writers worked too hard ended up ruining the plot....also as painful as it's to admit Reba's acting in this actually kinda weak too, if we add up the leads barely had any chemistry, yup that's recipe for wasting talents, money and time too.

Truly wasted.....personally I just think Gong Jun & Reba kinda not fit for each other, they barely had any chemistry, bland. The script writers try to dumbed down the story to made it less dark......instead made it so bloody boring that not even my love for Reba & Liu Yuning could keep me for more than 3 episodes 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽 I think I checked out since episode 1, but lying to myself, hyping it'd get better......after episode 3, I gave up.

I love Reba, and I love Liu Yuning....and even that couldn't stop me checking out after one episode. It's so boring and bland, it's almost all actors and actresses in it just doing their acting just adequately out of contract. GJ & Reba kinda wrong pair, almost no chemistry and flat.....and that come from me, Reba's fans 🤦🏽🤦🏽

Oh my problem ain't nothing to do with the bland ending.....I've prepared my heart for YZJ's death from earlier. My problem was with the thumb almost kissing tragedy they gave us. Both LYN & ZLS have quite good chemistry, if they refuse to kiss the director could have make just cut as they leaned closer, shouldn't insult us by giving deader than dead fish kiss 🤬🤬🤬
Also if they unwilling to give audiences romance, instead giving half-heartedly romance, just cut the whole romance plot, make it full about DW's growth empowerment, we'll be happy, not wanting to slap the director at the ending.
